In reply to: [EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets] Sharing EventHi @qxsocial
We just checked your site and it seems to be sharing events correctly now—did you already fix it? Also, we’re not sure why you mentioned the Open Graph plugin. Was it conflicting with EventPrime, or did it solve the issue for you?Thank you for the detailed description.
We have checked at our end and noticed that in your shortcode you are usingshow="30". In the calendar view, this restricts the display to only 30 events. Please try removing theshow="30"parameter from your shortcode and check if the multi-day event appears correctly. The
show="30"parameter sets the initial number of events to load on page load. When the user clicks Load More, the system then fetches the next set of events.
Looking forward to your confirmation.@amperez
Thank you for reaching out.We have tested the plugin on our end and it appears to be working as expected. To help us identify the root cause of the error on your site, could you please provide us with the following details:1. Debug Log
- Open your
wp-config.phpfile (located in the root folder of WordPress). - Add or confirm the following lines just before the line
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */:define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); - Save the file, then reproduce the issue (for example, activate the plugin).
- A debug log will be generated in:
/wp-content/debug.log - Please download and share this file with us.
2. Site Health Information
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools → Site Health.
- Under the Status tab, note any critical or recommended issues.
- Switch to the Info tab and click Copy site info to clipboard.
- Paste the copied content into a text file and share it with us.
Once we have both the debug log and the Site Health information, we will be able to investigate further.
Looking forward to your reply. We’re really sorry for the frustration you’ve been having. We know how important the start time and other features are, and we want to make sure they work properly for you. We’ve already fixed some things in recent updates, and in the next release, we’re giving the start time a full revamp. So don’t worry—you’re not being ignored. You might want to try the next update, as it should fix this issue better.
Sometimes replies take a little longer over weekends because the team spends time with family, but your concerns are never overlooked. If you can share the version you’re using and a screenshot of the problem, we’ll check it out right away and help you get it working.
We really value your trust and would love the chance to make things right for you.
Thanks for letting us know about this.
We tested the custom time format G:i A in WordPress General Settings on our side, and it’s showing up correctly in the EventPrime time drop-down. Here’s a quick screencast screencast.mp4 for reference. This issue may have been fixed in one of our recent releases, so please make sure you’re using the latest version of EventPrime. Could you share a screenshot of what it looks like on your site? That will help us pinpoint the difference and get it sorted quickly.
Thank you for clarifying about the event.tpl file — you’re absolutely right, and we can see how the similar file names could feel confusing. I’ll make sure this feedback is passed along to our team so we can look at making that distinction clearer in our documentation and future updates.
I also completely understand your frustration around unexpected costs. We try to keep EventPrime as user-friendly and flexible as possible, but in cases where deeper customization or troubleshooting is required, it sometimes does fall into the category of custom work. That said, our support team is always happy to first review the issues you’re facing and advise if they can be resolved with standard support for which there will absolutely no additional fees.
Regarding the WooCommerce integration and the uncaught exception errors you mentioned — that certainly shouldn’t be happening. If you could share the error details (a screenshot or error log, if available), we’d be glad to investigate and see whether it’s something we can resolve under regular support.
We want you to feel confident that if there are costs involved, they will only be suggested where absolutely necessary and with a clear outline of what will be delivered. At the same time, we’ll always do what we can within normal support to help resolve problems like the one you’re experiencing.
Your skepticism is understandable, but please know that our goal is to make sure EventPrime works smoothly for you. If you’d like, we can start by looking into the WooCommerce-related errors together, and then go from there based on what we find.
Thank you for sharing the URL.
We have reviewed the booking flow on your site and noticed that the login/registration form appearing in step 1 seems to originate from another third-party plugin or a piece of custom code, rather than from EventPrime itself. To help isolate the cause, we recommend temporarily deactivating all other extensions except EventPrime and then testing the booking process again. If you have added any custom code, please disable it as well and re-check.
If the problem still persists after these steps, please let us know. We are here to help.
Thanks for reaching out to us.
EventPrime includes a built-in option for enabling social sharing on event pages. To activate this, please go to:EventPrime → Settings → General tab → Third Party sub-tab → Allow Sharing Events
Once enabled, a share icon will appear on each single event page, allowing visitors to easily share events on popular social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and linkedin.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
