In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Address to Authorise for ProxyWhen you set up the wildcard, are you giving it full incoming and outgoing permissions? Jetpack needs to be able to communicate in both directions, so that could be part of the problem.

In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Address to Authorise for ProxyHi,
There isn’t one exact address you can whitelist for Jetpack requests, due to the way we load balance the requests coming to the Jetpack URL. You’ll need one public, non-proxied HTTP or HTTPS port to run Jetpack.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Tim

In reply to: site_inaccessible / transport error@keesdewit: It can take (usually) 24 to 48 hours for a new domain name and hosting service to become publicly accessible by other services on the Internet. By your description, this is likely the culprit since it started working after a period of time from changing name servers to getting Jetpack to connect. Glad to hear Jetpack is working. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Jetpack stats troubleHi all,
We’ve deployed a fix that should take care of this. Please check your stats again and let us know if they are working.
Thanks,

Hi,
The fatal error you are seeing usually indicates that the PHP configuration on your server does not have enough memory dedicated to it. In this case, it looks like only 32MB of memory is dedicated, which in most cases is quite small. You may want to try contacting your host and ask them to increase this to 64MB to see if this alleviates the problem.
I hope this helps,
Tim
Hi,
All of the Jetpack code is loading correctly. It looks like something in your theme or possibly a plugin is adding a
style="display: none"attribute to HTML labels, which is hiding the text that goes with the subscription checkboxes Jetpack puts on the comment form.If you switch temporarily to the Twenty Ten or Eleven theme, do you see the checkboxes and text appear as they are supposed to? If this doesn’t help, it would be worthwhile to list what plugins you are running.
Thanks,
Tim
@mykkal: The next bug fix release is coming very soon (this week), which will include this fix.
Until then, here’s an updated file that should help. Unzip this and drop it in your Plugins -> Jetpack -> Modules -> Sharedaddy folder. Then go back to your Dashboard -> Settings -> Sharing panel in your browser, check your settings, and clear your cache again. Everything should be back to the way you want it.
Let me know if that helps.

In reply to: [Jetpack from wordpress]1) Please start a new topic. This one is marked as resolved and it would clarify that this topic needs ongoing support if you start a new one.
2) What issue are you having exactly? If you could read this article and provide as much detail as possible, that would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Sharedaddy is still part of Jetpack. After you upgrade, you may need to visit the Jetpack Dashboard to ensure the Sharing module is active (this module contains the Sharedaddy code).
If you continue to see errors, please let us know. So that we can best help you, read through this and post as much detail as you can.
Thanks,
Tim
Hi,
Do you have BuddyPress installed? If so, you’ll need to deactivate it first before connecting Jetpack.
Thanks,
Tim

In reply to: Jetpack and subscriptionsHi folks,
Thanks for the bug report. We’re currently taking a look at the problem and will let you know as soon as we have a solution.
Thanks,

Hi,
You can go to the Jetpack menu, click on Configure on the Stats card, and check off all of the boxes under “Report Visibility.” Click Save. Now anyone who logs into the Dashboard of your site with who is a Subscribe, Author, Contributor, Editor, or Administrator will be able to see the Stats report page.
I hope this helps,
Tim
Hi,
Do you have a screenshot of or a URL to an example of a page layout problem?
