In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Unstructured DataI would like to clarify what I meant by “use different versions of the integration code for these products”.
The workaround I suggest is to use the integration code for Buy Now buttons from the Ecwid admin panel, not from the plugin.
You can find the code in your Ecwid admin > Catalog > Products > open the product > click Buy Now button > copy the code. On that page, you can tick different things you want to see on your Buy Now button and see how it changes. So there are different versions of the code depending on what you tick there. However, eventually, you copy one code and paste it in the HTML section of your WordPress page.
I hope it explains my previous message. Have a great day!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Unstructured DataThank you for your reply!
It seems that the issue is caused by the missing price and name values in the integration code used for the Buy Now button added via our plugin for WordPress. I’ve already reported the problem to our developers so they could check this out and apply a fix in one of the future updates of our plugin. We’ll reach out to you as soon as it is fixed.
Meanwhile, I can suggest a workaround:
1) remove the product widgets from this page https://bedkings.com.au/mattress-sale-online-in-store/
2) use different versions of the integration code for these products. You can find them in the Ecwid Control Panel > Catalog > Products > Edit Product > Buy Now button.
3) Add the codes for the buttons in the HTML section of your WordPress page, save the changes and republish your site. Just in case, here is the instruction on how you can change your WordPress pages’ HTML: https://wpbuffs.com/edit-source-code-in-wordpress/.
You can resubmit the page in your Google Webmaster tool, the errors should be gone. Please refer to this article to learn how you can do that: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/resubmit-sitemaps-after-content-changes/267685/.

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Plugin fills databaseHi there!
Ecwid team is here.
Many thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it.
We should say that we’re actively working on the plugin improvement: recently, we released the updated version of the Ecwid plugin where we added the automatic cache cleaning tool. So all transient records will be automatically deleted from wp_options table once a month. Please, make sure that you use the latest version of our plugin — 6.10.5.
You can also forcibly clear the plugin cache on the plugin settings page:
- open the hidden plugin page available at
https://YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ec-params, whereYOURDOMAIN.comshould be replaced with your site domain - click on “Clear all caches” button at the bottom of the page
We have plans to continue to improve the way our plugin works with transient records for sure. I’ve shared your feedback with our plugin developers.
Can you detail what you mean by “This plugin is currently broken”? Do you experience any issues because of transients? If so, what are they? Please, give us as more details as you can so we could better understand the problem. The additional details will help us to “see” your workflow and check if we can find a way to improve our caching mechanisms.
We’d also appreciate if you tell us how many products you have in your Ecwid catalog and what version of the plugin you use on your site. These details will be helpful. Maybe you can give us the link to your published site where we can see your Ecwid products? This will help us to detect your Ecwid account ID and check the version of your plugin.
Always happy to hear from you!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Plugin fills databaseHi there! It’s Dexter with Ecwid team. Thank you for your message!
I’m sorry that it’s happened to your site!
I see that someone reached out to us regarding this issue on your site. So we have a ticket on this and we’re planning to automate cache clearing in our plugin. As soon as we release it, we’ll let you know!
Also, as a workaround, you can clear cache manually from time to time. Here’s a direct link to the page where you can do that: https://www.wilcoxnursery.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ec-params
Just follow this link, scroll down the page and click on ‘Clear all caches’.
I hope it helps!
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.
Hi Greg,
Thanks for contacting us!
The Divi builder supports shortcodes, so in order to add a search widget to the Ecwid store, you should use a special shortcode.
To add the entire store including products, categories and search, you should add the following code in the shortcode widget in Divi:
[ecwid widgets="productbrowser search categories"]After that, the search bar will be added to the store page. It will look like this: https://ecwid.d.pr/w2hzJB
Just in case, here is an article about how to add Ecwid to WP with the help of shortcodes: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002137520-Shortcodes-for-adding-store-to-Wordpress
If you have any questions, please ask.
Hello!
I’m Dexter from Ecwid team. I’ll be glad to help you!
First of all, I apologize for the delayed response. We’re experiencing a high volume of customers due to COVID-19, but we’re working on optimizing our workflow and we hire more staff to overcome this situation. I hope for your understanding.
As I can understand, the extra fields show up at Checkout, but you can’t see them in your Order details, emails and invoices.
Is that correct?
If so, I’ll address all the three issues:
1. If you want to show the extra field values in the order details, make sure to specify
orderDetailsDisplaySectionin the code. The sections can be:
– shipping_info
– billing_info
– customer_info
– order_commentsIn case if
orderDetailsDisplaySectionin your code contains an unsupported value, the extra field values will be saved to the ‘Additional information’ section;2. When you add extra fields to your store, they are not displayed in emails and invoices by default. You should manually add a code snippet for them to show in emails and invoices. To learn more about it, please, follow this link: https://api-docs.ecwid.com/reference/order-extra-fields#order-extra-fields-in-invoices-and-emails
I hope it helps!
If you have more questions, please, contact us at apps@ecwid.com.
We’re happy to assist!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Plugin fills databaseHi Pieter!
No, you can’t disable it but you can clear the cache of the plugin on the Settings page via <site_url>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ec-params
On this page, click the “Clear all cache” button – this should also erase all transient records.

In reply to: Photo pluginHey there!
This is Lucy from the Ecwid Team. Thank you for contacting us. I’d be happy to help you!
The images you add to products are automatically unified when you upload them. However, the way they are cropped not always suits the store owner.
As for the product gallery images, the best way to make them the same size is to crop them in any online image editor.
So the fact that you edited them in Canva was the best solution.
I hope this helps! Have a great day!
@ext237 Thank you,
We have received and tested the theme. Please check the inbox folder of the email associated with your Ecwid account.

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Plugin fills databaseHello!
This is Jackie, Ecwid Team.
These records are stored by WordPress’ caching mechanism. WordPress deletes them in one month after they are created. Usually, these values clean up automatically in 30 days, yet something might have gone wrong on your side.
If needed, you can delete them manually without any harmful consequences.
I found a WordPress plugin that might help you to do that. Please check it here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/delete-expired-transients/
Also, you can reset the Ecwid plugin cache at this page: https://www.engravablecreations.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ec-params
Hope this helps!
Hi Jean,
Thank you for your question!
You can easily add Ecwid Store to your WordPress website. Please check: Adding your Ecwid store to WordPress site
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your response, we have checked the bug report available via this link http://memu.ext237-5.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php?action=ec_connect (I am sorry. I Didn’t notice it last time) to identify the exact reason we need some additional information from you:
I disabled *all* other plugins.
If I switch to the Twenty Twenty theme, the problem goes away and I’m able to sign in. Any suggestions/hints/ways to avoid this in the future?
Could you please send an archive with the theme from which you switch to Twenty Twenty theme. Please send it at support@ecwid.com We will test it at our end.
Thank you
