Hi @wood1e ,
On your feed mapping settings, simply add a new attribute based on what GMC is reporting: https://ibb.co/ZRHnM01L
Hi @danyh27 ,
This is a known bug and we have an article covering this issue. Please read here: https://adtribes.io/knowledge-base/how-to-stop-automatic-blank-feed-generation/
Hi @dreamjobma,
Please open a new forum post and we’ll continue there.
Hi @sahdevinsight ,
The visited the feed xml file:https://staging.electrocare.uk/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/azhjugr9pggm5lz6z6nboluq8z8j57qo.xml and don’t see any pipe separations on the category: https://ibb.co/tpXdMRL1
Could you please provide more information on the issue you are facing?
Hi @abhg613,
Can you please send a screenshot on how you’ve set up the fields? Also, have you tried static fields for the in_stock?
Hi @infiniscrolling ,
Could you please send a screenshot on how your rules are setup? I’ll review/test it
Hi @kairit12 ,
Can you please send in an image on how your data manipulation is set up? I’ll run some test. Also, when you say custom field do you mean fields that are from ACF or similar?
If so, try clearing your attribute cache in Product Feed > Settings : https://ibb.co/8LZjgfr8
Hi @acquamarina ,
Could you please try downgrading to the previous version and see if that fixes things? You can get the previous versions here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/advanced/
As for the directories – If it’s reporting not writeable then it’s likely that the server still has some sort of writing permission issues.
Having said that if it was working previously try downgrading. And please confirm what PHP versions you currently have. At the moment we officially support 8.1
Hi @acquamarina ,
Can you please check what happens when you manually refresh the feed? See if the item amount is fixed.
If not, try creating a new feed and see if the items are correctly outputted. Also, did this issue happen after updating to the newer version(if so do you know when it was updated and what version you were on)?
Hi @romcb ,
it all becomes collapsed into a single continuous row of text
– This shouldn’t be happening, there are no other reports of this specific issue so it might be case-by-case. Could you please try downgrading the version and see if that works? If not try creating a new feed entirely. You can find the previous versions here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/advanced/
Having said that try creating a new feed first, there are times where simply creating a new feed can fix things. And if you have any plugin or server caching, temporarily disable them and see if that fixes things
Hi @pekkaa
Thanks for that information. I’ll log that and mark this post as solved. We’ll be monitoring this issue. There are users reporting it but not all so we aren’t 100% sure on what the exact cause is.
Hi @webgasp ,
You mentioned that you’ve already done basic debugging – by this did you try disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and product feed and also have a theme like storefront active without any snippets/code?
Also, please use the item_group_id; the issue with missing variations are usually due to setup or a conflict somewhere.
Alternatively, try creating a new feed using the default template without any customizations (just enable the include variations option)
Hi @romcb ,
That error usually means that one of your products have very long text where Meta doesn’t support it. See here for more information: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2041876302542944?id=725943027795860
I suggest going through your feed xml, see the if one of the attributes value are way too long. There’s no way around this but to ensure that your content meets Meta restrictions.
Hi @arnoarnoknl ,
The attributes should be under Dynamic Attributes: https://ibb.co/cSPjDvnY
Try using other fields for the attribute mapping and see if that works.
Hi @phatman ,
That should be set to true. If it’s not then your servers directory isn’t writable which will cause our plugin to not function properly.
Having said that, if the plugin is working fine on your site then it’s falsely reporting and you can ignore it. If it isn’t working as intended, please reach out to your server’s support team on making the the folders writable
