Hi @acquamarina ,
Can you please check what happens when you manually refresh the feed? See if the item amount is fixed.
If not, try creating a new feed and see if the items are correctly outputted. Also, did this issue happen after updating to the newer version(if so do you know when it was updated and what version you were on)?
Hi Jeff, thanks for replying. As I mentioned before, there is no indication of a problem there.
I updated the plugin today hoping this issue would be resolved. We updated from 13.5.1 to 13.5.2 today. The issues seemed to have started in the last few days after the previous upgrade to 13.5.1 The issue is still there even after today’s update.
When I refresh the feed, it is super fast and shows “Ready”. It is fast because there are only 5 products in the feed. There are 296 products in the shop. There are no errors or warnings.
When I create a new Google feed, the same happens. I created a new feed with no filters or rules, in case that was the problem. It behaves exactly as the original feed.
When I check the system status all directories are non-writable. I contacted hosting and they did what they could. The permissions are standard, so not being restricted by the server/host in any way. They were refreshed and all cache cleared, and the results are the same.
Here is a current snapshot of System Status inside the plugin:
PHP-version(8.3)Product feed directory writable False
Product feed XML directory writable False
Product feed CSV directory writable False
Product feed TXT directory writable False
Product feed TSV directory writable False
Product feed LOGS directory writable False

Hi @acquamarina ,
Could you please try downgrading to the previous version and see if that fixes things? You can get the previous versions here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/advanced/
As for the directories – If it’s reporting not writeable then it’s likely that the server still has some sort of writing permission issues.
Having said that if it was working previously try downgrading. And please confirm what PHP versions you currently have. At the moment we officially support 8.1
Hi Jeff,
I’ll try reverting to previous version and report back.
The server has no permission issues. I checked with the host, and the permissions were refreshed. They are the standard permissions, same as it had before when the plugin worked fine.

Hi Jeff,
Took a few of hours yesterday to work on the feed with hosting. None of these made any difference:
Rolled back PHP version even though it worked fine before.
Rolled back plugin version to 13.5.1 then 13.5 and tested,
Checked directories ownership
Rechecked permissions – they are fine on the server, I can see it in File Manage on host dashboard too.
There are no security or any other type of restrictions on the server that could cause this.
Tried writing other types of files to the folders from the server – it worked fine.
And a long list of other server settings, none made any difference.
The directories are writable, the plugin doesn’t recognize that. I don’t know what else to do.

Hi @acquamarina ,
So downgrading to the previous working version for Product Feed Pro didn’t fix the issue? Also, you mentioned that new feeds without any rules or filters still have the same issue of 5 products only?
Just to confirm, do you have the generate preview feed option enabled?: https://ibb.co/95c47td
Having said that our plugin just might be reporting wrongly; if it was not writeable then you shouldn’t be able to generate feeds at all. If it’s generating then it’s likely a setup issue.
