• Hi
We have 113 products that are not displaying because they do not have attributes
    Missing age group
    Missing colour
    Missing gender
    Missing size

Which is odd as on another GMC account we have no problem with these listings! Added to that we seem to be stuck in a CSS we never signed up for so products are limited.

Anyway, I am not looking for answers to GMC, but how would I insert those attributes into my Feed?

withouth having to add them to every product iindividually.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @wood1e ,

On your feed mapping settings, simply add a new attribute based on what GMC is reporting: https://ibb.co/ZRHnM01L

    hi
Thanks but what is the ‘value’ as I presume it cannot be blank?

we don’t have attributes for any of these

    Missing age group
    Missing colour
    Missing gender
    Missing size

We have size, so I can add attribute, but the others I need to create attributes?

    Hi @wood1e ,

You could simply set a static value for the feed, you’ll just need to make sure that you are using a supported value: https://ibb.co/bcLf92Z

Here are relevant pages for the supported values:

    Missing age group: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324463?hl=en
    Missing colour: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324487?hl=en
    Missing gender: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324479?hl=en
    Missing size: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324492?hl=en

but the others I need to create attributes?
In most cases yes, you’ll need to add the attributes so it meets Google Requirements. Do note that these are required for certain types of products only so it’s best to double check the links I’ve provided above.

    Hi
Sorry for the delay in responding, I missed the notification.

I will create new attributes. As almost all are adult the colours and size are different…

It is amazing how the same feed on another Google account has no reference or failure to reference any of the missing age, colour, gender or size! Bonkers.

    Once again many thanks

    hi

I have checked further and read ‘how to’ but i cannot see how to set variable size/age/gender etc.

For example we have trousers that are size_waist and size_Inside_leg whilst a ‘Jacket’ could be ‘pa_chest’

I have noticed there is rules, but I cannot seem to find the Then’ to fit…

So I can see how to fit one size or one age but I cannot see how to set dynamically.

    Hi @wood1e ,

Our plugin will automatically detect these attributes. Just make sure that they are actually added to the product as an attribute.

On your feed then set the fields like:

    https://ibb.co/h1MyVYjJ

You can then use the rules to remove the field or change the value depending on the outcome.

    Hi

Thanks for that, so the attribute has to be showing on the front end to be able to add it to the XML feed?

As I said we do not want this Attribute showing on the product front end. See here: https://app.screencast.com/grVHF6vDep01A
