In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Multiple Canonical URLsA short summary of Multiple Canonical URLs case:
The source of the issue with duplicated canonical URLs is described above: Along with canonical tags and URLs generated by Ecwid plugin, there were duplicated canonical tags and URLs generated by a third-party SEO plugin RankMath.
As a solution, we updated integration between our store plugin and Rank Math plugin, so the titled and canonical tags created by Ecwid are not duplicated by RankMath.
The same issue about duplicated titles was reported here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/duplicate-titles-9/
A solution we described works for duplicated titles as well.

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Duplicate TitlesA short summary of Duplicate Titles case:
Our plugin for WordPress generates relevant canonical tags for all store pages (categories and products) automatically.
The other tags and titles on the merchant’s site were created by the third-party SEO plugin Rank Math. As a result, there were duplicated titles and canonical tags generated by both plugins.
We investigated this situation and found a solution: we updated integration between our Ecwid plugin and Rank Math plugin, so the titled and canonical tags created by Ecwid are not duplicated by RankMath plugin.
The same issue about duplicated canonical URLs was reported here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-canonical-urls/

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Great Customer ServiceHi Michael,
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it.
Regarding multiple schema markup formats: JSON-LD is recommended by Google these days, but we still add microdata so that your store pages can be recognized by other search engines as well e.g. Bing. Based on our research, at this moment there is no conflict between the two schema types, and products can be indexed by Google without a problem.
As for the page loading speed, we are working in this direction. We’ve added you to our mailing list associated with improvements that will be made to meet PageSpeed Insights requirements—as soon as there is an update we will let you know.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via live chat or email.
Stay safe and healthy!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Facebook salesHi there!
Yes, you can sell on Facebook with Ecwid. To do that, you just need to connect your Ecwid store to your business Facebook page. Once it’s done, the products from your Ecwid catalog will be listed on your business Facebook page and your customers will be able to find them in the Shop tab on the page. To purchase a product, they will need to click on it and then click on the “Check Out on Website” button, then they will get redirected to your website to complete the purchase process and place their order.
Here we have a detailed guide to selling on Facebook: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005892705-Selling-on-Facebook
Please let us know if you have further questions or need assistance, we will be happy to help! You can also contact our support at https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Multiple Canonical URLsHello, Michael! This is Ecwid team with an update.
As I see, one of our agents is in touch with you about this issue and you’ve provided us with the necessary details and access to your WordPress admin. Thank you! It will help us to find a fix.
I should say our plugin for WordPress generates relevant canonical tags for all store pages (categories and products) automatically. Ecwid is loaded on one page of the website, so if you add a canonical tag to the store page manually, it will lead to one page for all store pages—all categories and products will have one and the same canonical tag, thus this approach won’t work correctly for SEO. Our indexation module, integrated to our plugins, produces the SEO-friendly URLs and canonical tags and creates microdata markups automatically, but it doesn’t allow editing these data within the source code—this is not allowed due to the architecture of Ecwid as an ajax application.
So the third-party SEO plugin generates the wrong canonical URLs as links to the store page. Such canonical URLs for product pages point to the same main store page and Google can delete all product pages as duplicates. In this case, I highly recommend enabling our canonical URLs.
By the way, the same issue in the work of two plugins in your report about duplicate titles: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/duplicate-titles-9
Once we check this third-party SEO plugin and find a fix on our end, your pages will have one correct canonical URL and one correct product title.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Duplicate TitlesHello, Michael! Ecwid team is here. Sorry for the long silence.
Firstly I should say that this is the same issue as you reported here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-canonical-urls/
These duplicates are caused by two separate plugins generating different titles. One title is generated by our Ecwid plugin, and the second one is generated by an SEO plugin that is installed on your WordPress website.
In this case, we should investigate this issue on our end and add the ability to our Ecwid plugin to control and prevent such situations.
As I see, one of our agents is in touch with you about this issue. Once we find the source of the issue, we will be able to fix it.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart] Multiple Canonical URLsHello Michael! Ecwid team is here.
As I see, you’ve disabled Ecwid canonical URLs and now there is only one canonical URL.
Anyway, I checked your screenshots and see that there are links to your product pages. I investigated it further and it seems WordPress or an SEO plugin you’ve installed creates such incorrect canonical URLs automatically for your pages. Do you use any SEO plugin for your WordPress site? If so, what is it?
I need this information to understand what plugin caused this issue so we can prevent such situations in the future. Thank you!
