As it is now, if *anything* seems to change on the order in WooCommerce, ShipStation doesn’t know about it and the wrong things will be shipped out. This can get quite expensive.
I completely get what you mean here. For any changes to be reflected in ShipStation, it’s still a manual process with needing to click the refresh button. I would encourage you to add the idea of automatically updating changes to the ShipStation Ideas Board here: https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce?category_id=337612
I know that doesn’t get you an immediate solution, but it does get the idea out there for the developers’ consideration.
Hi @mkkak,
Currently, there doesn’t seem to be a way to send the SKU to the feed using Google Listings and Ads. That said, a feature to globally map attributes to existing product fields or taxonomy values is being considered, so that may include SKUs. There’s no timeline for that yet, however.
how can i change the product id prefix gla_
There is also no way to change this default behavior. It’s set that way to help with identifying products that were submitted with the plugin.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway] Orders stuck in processingHi @qwik3r,
Is there any downside for continuing to use the paypal checkout plugin versus the other one for the foreseeable future? The new one is riddled with issues.
First of all, sorry to hear about your issues with the new PayPal Payments plugin. If you need support for it, in addition to the link provided by Niall above, you can also reach out to the team in charge of PayPal Payments at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. Make sure to select PayPal Payments in the form and include a copy of your site’s System Status Report. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
As for any downsides with continuing to use the PayPal Checkout plugin, there isn’t any for now. PayPal currently does not have plans to deprecate it. That said, PayPal Payments is now PayPal’s recommended plugin. It’s where they intend to add future feature upgrades.

In reply to: [ShipStation for WooCommerce] Refunded Orders?Hi, @scmsteve
I wish y’all would stop marking things as resolved that ARE NOT RESOLVED. You haven’t heard back because it isn’t fixed yet.
For context, we mark threads as resolved when we don’t hear back from the thread-starter within 7 days. You can continue to respond to the thread, however, and we will continue to assist you.
My colleague Abhi suggested that you get in touch with ShipStation support as the issue you’re experiencing is a bug from ShipStation’s end. Have you heard back from them? If you haven’t reached out to them yet, the best way for you to do that would be by following the steps here: How to Contact ShipStation.
If ShipStation support lets you know that they are unlikely to come up with a fix for the issue anytime soon, I would encourage you to try the previously suggested workaround of marking your refunded orders as
Cancelledin your site’s back end for now.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] FB for WOOCommerce won’t connect or somethingHi, @thezoomguy and @rebelguru,
Can you please try the following steps to resolve the issues on your sites?
1. Go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php (change yoursite.com to your domain)
2. Search forwc_facebook_external_business_id
3. Update the field to include only ASCII characters and save. Best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
4. Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again`@rebelguru, if that doesn’t help, according to our forum guidelines, I would encourage you to create your own thread. The “Something went wrong” error has many different possible causes, so we’d want to address your issue separately. We would gladly assist you from your new thread.

In reply to: [Storefront] Payment method displayed incorrectlyHi @getterk,
I’m afraid that screenshot doesn’t give us a lot of information we can use to help with potentially fixing the issue.
If you could still get a copy of the System Status Report from the merchant, that would help us point you in the right direction much better.
If that’s not an option, I would suggest asking the merchant to check the following:
- The theme they’re using
- The payment gateway
If there are any support forums or groups for those two, the merchant may want to first see if there are any existing issues that are similar to what they’re experiencing.

In reply to: [Storefront] moving menu to left of logoHi, @reaper1983!
Checking your site just now, it looks like you were able to figure this out. Is that right?
If yes, for the benefit of the community, if you could share what worked for you, that might help someone else who comes across a similar issue.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Theme TemplateHi, @cherrylb!
[…] how do I switch themes without starting over?
You should be able to quickly switch themes from Appearance > Themes and clicking on “Activate” for the theme you want to use:
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/M4tFdJIf you’re not seeing Storefront in your list of themes yet, you can click on “Add New Theme” and look for it in the themes catalog.
I’m curious about what you mean by “starting over” though. Did you already make additional styling changes to your existing theme?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Blocks] No translation on front-endThanks for confirming, @dalias!
I’ll run additional tests on this and, if I’m able to reproduce the issue consistently, I’ll confirm with the developers if this is related to the issue that’s already being fixed here: Handle translations in lazy loaded files.
I’ll keep you updated either way!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Blocks] Remove a card icon on cart pageHi @mosesclarke91!
Any particular reason you would want to hide the American Express icon? Is it that you don’t want to accept those cards as a payment method?
For purely cosmetic purposes though, you can try the following CSS:
.wc-block-components-payment-method-icons .wc-block-components-payment-method-icon--amex { display: none; }Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce Admin] TranslationHi Peter,
I just went through your screenshots and compared your settings with mine. They’re the same, so I’m not exactly sure what’s happening on your site.
But just to cover all our bases, is your Site Language under Settings > General already set to the language you want to use?
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/IjTkcLP.S. Is this the right way to attach images?
Yes, that should be fine! 🙂
Hi @smomoza,
I went looking into this for you further, and is the external website also using WordPress?
If yes, then you can use the Embed block and paste your product URL there. I tried this on some of my sites, and it worked:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] payment methods don’t showHi @purodreams,
I have disable blocks and created two new cart and checkout pages and now the payment methods do not show in the checkout page.
First of all, how did you create the new cart and checkout pages? The way I would normally recommend doing this is by following the instructions here: How To Re-install Missing Pages.
Can I show you, in private, an image of the checkout page?
Second, you can share a screenshot with me using https://snipboard.io/
And by “don’t finish loading,” does it look like this?
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/rDhK9xIf yes, you may want to go through our documentation here: Endless loading/spinner on the checkout page.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Blocks] MailChimp for WooCommerce compatibilityHi, @dval09!
If I’m not mistaken, you’re asking specifically about the Cart and Checkout blocks. Is that right?
If so, there’s still no compatibility there. If you want to track the progress on that though, you can subscribe to this GitHub report: Integrate Mailchimp with Cart and Checkout blocks.
Hi, @smomoza!
Can I display or embed my woocommerce products on an external website?
WooCommerce Blocks wouldn’t be able to do this for you.
That said, I looked at possible solutions, and there aren’t many. The closest I could find was one from 4 years ago: WooCommerce External Product Embed. You still may want to give that a go though, in case it still works.
