I cannot reproduce your problem. But you can try a workaround. Make your browser window narrower, the footer is not visible in the mobile view.

wir haben ein neues Release, welches im wesentlichen Inkompatibilitäten mit php 7.1 behebt. Euer Problem sollte damit behoben sein.

thanks a lot for reporting and sorry. I opened an issue for our developers. We will check the S3 secret keys and let you know if we can reproduce and fix this problem.

there was an known issue with the new release some minutes ago which could have caused your problem. This should be fixed now. Please download the new version from https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/ and copy it again to your server.

we have some tutorials on how to restore a wordpress site in our docs: http://docs.backwpup.com/article/127-how-to-restore-a-wordpress-backup
It would be best to make a backup of the site as it is now, so you have the possibility to go back, if you are not successfull with restoring from the old backup.

it is a known php 7.1 issue and we are working on a fix. Update will come soon. Probably it works, if you downgrade to php 7.0.
