@all we are currently working on the php 7.1 compatibility issues and there will be an update in a few days.

your php Version is 7.1? There is a known issue with php 7.1. We are working on it and will inform you as soon as we have a fix.

when you download the backup saved to dropbox via the WordPress backend, our plugin tries to download it form Dropbox using the Dropbox API. And it seems to encounter the same problem like you when you try to download directly from dropbox.
Please contact dropbox and lets see, what they say.

if your file is in your dropbox, and you cannot download it from there, this is probably a dropbox issue. Please contact dropbox.

please have a look to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/file-name-too-long-to-be-saved-correctly/ . Solution could be to use zip-format instead.
