This is a known issue caused by the last release. We already have a fix working for us and some users and just neeed to do some more tests. If you want to test please contact us via the contact form on backwpup.com and use as subject “Betatest”. You can write in English or German. We will provide you with the bugfix.

thanks for applying as betatester. We have a solution working for us and for some users who tested. We are just doing some more betatests before releasing.

I advise you to just not include the creation of a xml backup file in the backup job if you have this problem and use the full and database backup.

thanks for reporting. We added this to our todo list. But cannot tell you, when exactly this will be fixed.Yes, we respond from time to time, but we unfortunately cannot give all topics an answer or a fix immediatly.
