    Hi,

I updated yesterday to version 3.3.6 and since then I have been not able to upload my backups to the specified FTP-server. I went back to the old version and everything is fine again.

    Thanks,
    Christian

  • Hi Christian,

I had the same issue (I actually came to this forum to post about that).

What I found out is that upgrading to 3.3.6 seems to make BackWPup forget the FTP password.

I went into the backup job, inserted the FTP credentials and saved. Now it is working for me.

    Hi Christina,

    currently I am using php 5.5. If needed I can change to 7.0 or 7.1. But…. never change a running system… 😉

Thanks a lot for your help. Our developer is working on the fix. It would be great to have some tester before releasing. If you want to test please contact us via the contact form on backwpup.com and use as subject “Betatest”. You can write in English or German. We will provide you with the bugfix as soon as we have one.

    Thank you very much.
