This issue should be fixed in Jetpack 1.8.3 as well.
Do you have the Sharedaddy plugin installed? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sharedaddy/
If so, deactivate and uninstall that before activating Jetpack.
Do you have comments turned off on those pages?
Please get in touch with us at support@jetpack.me. We will need to update this on our servers.
What video embed are you trying to use? Do you have an example of it not working?
Take a look at you PHP error logs. A blank white screen is a PHP error.
If you set your permalinks to “Day and name” and are using the same domain name, you should get the same counts. It’ll depend on the social networking service though, I believe, as their buttons and API will determine the counts.
I’m seeing the contact form display correctly. Is this still an issue for you?
That is entirely dependent on your theme and how the theme chooses to display the comments and the comment form. Jetpack Comments only displays the comment form, not the comments themselves.
Yes, this is on our development roadmap. I do not, however, know when this may appear in an update. Thanks for the feedback 🙂
What post were you trying to comment on?
The shortlink domain in use is not currently configured for HTTPS use, so your users would end up seeing the “this domain may be bad” messages from their browsers when the visit the shortlink.
I can investigate updating this, though in the mean time, you can probably find and host a shortlink generator on your own server that will run through your SSL certificate.
It sounds like there may be an issue with your web host. Can you contact theme for support?
You may also want to try increasing the PHP memory limit to see if that helps matters:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
The sharing button currently included in Jetpack (if you use the Icon + Text option) allows you to enter a comment when you click on the Facebook share button.
We may update in the future, though an update is not on our roadmap for any upcoming releases.
@cajundop: what is the web site? Have you cleared your browser cache and any plugin cache you may have?
