What settings do you have on your Settings -> Sharing for the share buttons? Official buttons, icon + text, etc.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve passed this along to our engineers and will let you know when I have more information.
This is something we will need to resolve in the Jetpack plugin. We are making every effort to get issues such as these fixed.
If you’d like, you can send your report to us at support@jetpack.me and we’ll take a look at it.
Thanks!
Email notification issues should be solved in 1.8.3.
As far as comments themselves not working, could you provide more information, ikiwago?
Could you try steps 1 and 2 at http://jetpack.me/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-tips/ and see if there is a plugin or theme conflict?

Either upload the files via FTP or get your host to change the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
That is something our engineers have custom-crafted for our news blog. We are looking into making the Subscriptions widget (currently in Jetpack) also available as a shortcode, though I do not have an ETA on when that may happen.
Please get in touch with our support team at support@jetpack.me and provide some example comments that have not made it into your moderation queue. Thanks!
Jetpack 1.8.3 should resolve the comment subscription email issue. Please let us know if you are still noticing any issues.
Correct ownership of the directory and files should be the web server user. Correct permissions on the folder should be readable/writeable/executable by the web server user.
As a note, Jetpack is not meant to be run on private URLs, like
localhost, localhost.localdomain, or anything behind a proxy or firewall. Jetpack currently requires a connection to WordPress.com’s servers for any of its features to function properly. Thanks for the report. I’ll add these to the development list.
