If you want to disable wp cron, then you will have to setup a cronjob on your website server

But FYI, Xcloner needs WP Cron enabled.

Can you check if you may have some firewalls that plugin the request.
Regarding your ajax error, can you try maybe disable your website plugins one by one and see if there may be a plugin you have installed that breaks ajax?

We made a fix for that, you can uninstall your existing version, then download the one from here https://github.com/watchfulli/XCloner-Wordpress/archive/master.zip
Install that and see how it goes.

Can you check if that issue happens on another website from other hosting? Because I’m not able to reproduce here, I’m wondering if there may be something on your hosting which does changes to folders.

There should not but seems something makes changes on those directories while the backup is running which causes this issue.

Unfortunately, that’s not possible, backup is done on the site server and then is moved on the remote storage.

Why don’t you simply rename that backup folder to something without spaces like “DigiCloud” or “Digi_Cloud”?

Have you checked if that storage connection is working? Also make sure you’re using latest XCloner version

Have you checked if you have set correctly “Backup Storage Location” in your XCloner admin area at Storage Locations > Local Storage?

Have you tried to follow what my mate suggested? If you run on an upload limitation ( related with your server settings) afraid there’s nothing for us to do on our side about that.
