xcloner Error: Changed while reading, archive corrupted

    I have a problem with the xCloner backup. I always get the following error message.

    If I add the corresponding directory _cert to excluded, the next directory throws the same error. Only when I excluded all directories and only single files for backup it worked.

    I saw a similar topic but it’s not resolved.

    Error Message:

    Hello,

    Have you checked if there are changes done in those directories while doing the backup?

    There should be no changes in those directories

    Hello,

    There should not but seems something makes changes on those directories while the backup is running which causes this issue.

    I created a test directory with just a static textfile in it. And only added that directory to the backup. But the error still occurs. I try to check if there is something that affects directories in any way. I don’t know the setup that well because somone else did the setup of the page years ago.

    Hi,

    Can you check if that issue happens on another website from other hosting? Because I’m not able to reproduce here, I’m wondering if there may be something on your hosting which does changes to folders.
