Hi @mikeestonanto,
Yes, very possibly, the issue is that WooCommerce Multilingual is not updated.
The Update Failed message suggests an issue with the Site Key. This can happen when you’ve migrated your website from another location or similar. If you continue to see this when trying to update one of our plugins from the Dashboard, please open a chat on wpml.org so that we can take a closer look.
Since WCML is a free plugin, you can download the latest version here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/Then, you can either upload it through the Dashboard, or FTP, and activate the new version.
Best,
IzziHi @mikeestonanto,
Thank you for reaching out!
Could you please provide some more details about the issue?
Is there an associated error in your debug logs, or any other information of that nature that led WooCommerce Support to suggest the bug is inside WCML?
Could you also please confirm that you have installed the latest versions of all the required plugins?
If you’ve not opened a ticket in our Support Forums yet, I would suggest you do so, since you are reporting what sounds like a confirmed issue. You can share the ticket URL with me here to follow up on it.

Thank you!
Hi,
The plugins you’ve mentioned are NOT available for free on WordPress.org and therefore are not downloadable from your Dashboard. If you search “WPML” there, nothing shows up, which is correct.
As such, we cannot provide support for unlicensed copies of the software. You are also vulnerable to malicious code changes and backdoors left in pirated copies.
Even if you had purchased the product, I would have still asked you to report the issue in our Support Forums as this is not a known issue currently, and we would need to take a look at the site and request sensitive information about the rest of your setup, which we cannot do here.
Please purchase a license and report the issue to our support team so that we can assist you further:

In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] getting to know it betterHi @ahsalama,
Thanks for the feedback!
WooCommerce Multilingual can seem complicated due to the large number of features and the complexity of WooCommerce itself.
Please feel free to start a chat with one of our Support Team members if you are having trouble with any feature, or just to get a better idea of how things work together!

Best,
IzziWe have not received any update on, or confirmation of, any report(s) I may have made of this review in the past. Obviously there is no intent on our part to abuse the moderation system, but there is no record of any previous reports, at least as far as I can see.
As mentioned in my report today, this review refers to WordPress Multilingual and makes no reference to WooCommerce Multilingual, which is the plugin being reviewed.
Of course, we value any feedback received from our users and if there is an issue between WooCommerce Multilingual and Elementor Pro, we apologize for the experience and hope @hass847 can provide us with some more information and clarify the problem.
For our other users, at the moment, I could not find any confirmed compatibility problems between WooCommerce Multilingual and Elementor Pro.
Best,
IzziHi,
Without a WPML.org account, we can’t be certain you’re using official, up-to-date, versions of our products. Could you please clarify where you purchased the plugin from and whether you are on the latest versions of WooCommerce Multilingual, WordPress Multilingual, WPML String Translation and WPML Translation Management?
Please note that we cannot provide support for unlicensed versions of our products. We also cannot take a look at your website’s backend or debug logs in public forums like this and recommend that you do not share your credentials if asked here.
If you are developing this for a client, that client can add you to the WPML.org access:
https://wpml.org/announcements/2020/09/add-other-people-to-your-wpml-cms-or-agency-account/—-
The reason I mentioned your site being a test site is that there is obviously a display condition failing somewhere, or there’s an error being thrown in your debug logs. I cannot confirm where that’s coming from without taking a closer look, and our first step is always to make sure everything is updated.
Best,
IzziHi @mandy-semaan,
To the best of my knowledge, you should be able to update variations normally in the original language. Your products’ translations may show “lock” icons on some fields as manually editing these fields have been known to cause issues.
You can sync your variation changes to the secondary language products once modified, as mentioned here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#translating-product-variationsIf you require further assistance with this, I suggest starting a chat in our Support Forums, so that we can provide more effective instructions based on your website’s configuration.
Have a great week!
Best,
IzziHi @benarab91,
Thank you for reaching out!
I took a quick look at your site and this could be happening due to a number of issues. Immediately I can see that since you have test content on the site, most products do not show up in other currencies at all.
I feel this is more of a configuration or compatibility issue than an actual bug and I would suggest that you start a chat in our Support Forums at WPML.org:
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/We will be happy to assist you further with this, once we can see how your store is configured and what other plugins you might be using.
Best,
IzziHi @sylvain68,
I believe you are experiencing this Known Issue reported recently:
https://wpml.org/errata/woocommerce-endpoints-result-in-404-error/
If the workaround does not work for you, you can always start a chat in our Support Forums and someone will assist you further:
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/Thank you and Stay Safe!
Hi,
Firstly, this is the WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML) project, and not WPML.
Your issue has nothing to do with WCML and so your review here seems misplaced. That being said, WPML and Elementor are both quite complex plugins, however, they are tested regularly and we still get reports of issues daily from our tens of thousands of common users who use WPML and Elementor together.
The issue you are describing seems implausible, as there is nothing in the integration between WPML and Elementor Pro that would randomly switch back to the default language strings. This issue has not been reported by anyone else recently, from the tickets I looked at. What you are describing is such a major problem that we would have had every single user reporting it.
If you are a licensed WPML user, please open a support ticket in our forums and someone will be happy assist you and help figure out why you are experiencing this.
Thank you!
Hi,
But you said
__('login')works fine. So, we have two unique strings that are not translating (your name and “My Account”), while one is translating fine (“login”).So, I feel that at least, this is not a bug 🙂
Without being able to see your template code, what other plugins you are using, etc., it’s not really possible to debug this and we don’t ask for that kind of information / code in this public forum.
Could you please open a ticket here so we can assist you further?
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out!
If you’re just using
__('My Account'), then you’re using thedefaultcontext and I know that “My Account” is a string that is present in thewoocommercecontext as well.Possibly you translated the wrong (or only one of many) string in
WPML -> String Translation.Unfortunately, we won’t be able to help you get to the bottom of this here, but if you have an active subscription, I suggest opening a ticket in our forums where a Support Team Member will be able to take a closer look at your setup and suggest a resolution.

In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] GreatHi,
As mentioned before, please open a ticket in the WPML Support Forums on WPML.org. The link you shared is for wordpress.org which is intended for general questions rather than debugging support. The issue you are describing is specific to your website.
You will need an active WPML license in order to open a ticket but you could also look for answers to your issues in the public forum:
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/Please also make sure your plugins are all updated, including the WPML And WCML versions here:
https://wpml.org/account/downloads/If you do not have a valid WPML license, it is very possible that you are missing some updates, which would explain the issues you are facing.
Thank you!
Hi Marco,
I am not sure where you opened the ticket as no one on our Support Team would have sent you back here and we do not close a ticket without the user’s confirmation.
Could you please share a link to the Support Forum ticket and I’ll follow up on your issue?
Best,
Izzi
