• It’s really a disturbing problem, our site is built with the Elementor Pro plugin and WPML seems to be not at all compatible with it. We create a page in English and then add translation to it using Edit Translation after doing all done, the page gets translated properly, we move on to other aspects of our business and then suddenly we see some of the translated pages are showing English text. We again have to edit it and add Dutch translation section by section. It’s very time-consuming and holding us back from moving forward to the next stages of our business.

For how much time we have been fixing the site. When a page has been translated we do not have to translate it again.

  • Hi,

Firstly, this is the WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML) project, and not WPML.
Your issue has nothing to do with WCML and so your review here seems misplaced.

That being said, WPML and Elementor are both quite complex plugins, however, they are tested regularly and we still get reports of issues daily from our tens of thousands of common users who use WPML and Elementor together.

The issue you are describing seems implausible, as there is nothing in the integration between WPML and Elementor Pro that would randomly switch back to the default language strings. This issue has not been reported by anyone else recently, from the tickets I looked at. What you are describing is such a major problem that we would have had every single user reporting it.

If you are a licensed WPML user, please open a support ticket in our forums and someone will be happy assist you and help figure out why you are experiencing this.

    Thank you!

@izzih Do not report this review a third time. That’s abusive.

This review remains feedback and referring to it as “Spam” is wrong.

We have not received any update on, or confirmation of, any report(s) I may have made of this review in the past. Obviously there is no intent on our part to abuse the moderation system, but there is no record of any previous reports, at least as far as I can see.

As mentioned in my report today, this review refers to WordPress Multilingual and makes no reference to WooCommerce Multilingual, which is the plugin being reviewed.

Of course, we value any feedback received from our users and if there is an issue between WooCommerce Multilingual and Elementor Pro, we apologize for the experience and hope @hass847 can provide us with some more information and clarify the problem.

For our other users, at the moment, I could not find any confirmed compatibility problems between WooCommerce Multilingual and Elementor Pro.

    Best,
    Izzi
