    Hello,

    This is Ecwid customer team. My name is Charlie.

    Really sorry you are having any sort of negative experience with us.

    I’ve checked your store at https://ifinallyquit.com/store/, and tested its performance. The home page scored 5.58 sec and the page with a shop — 3.67 sec.

    To help your merchants improve the performance of their websites, Ecwid has Interactive load — accelerated and improved load of javascript.

    I’ve tested your store from different angles(different devices) and every time the result was very promising.

    However, when you believe, that your store’s loading speed has increased, since you added Ecwid on your website, this is understandable — another javascript to load, a bit of CSS, new images. But the store loads moderately fast on my end, anyways.

    If you believe, that there is still a problem, we can investigate your .HAR-file. Please, send it to us at support@ecwid.com and mark it ‘Ecwid WordPress Loading Speed’. I will submit a report to our engineers and they will investigate this. Check out this guide on how to generate the .HAR-file.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, and I appreciate further cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Charlie, Ecwid team

    Hi! Thank you for the feedback.

    Such thing as closing the store at a certain time can be achieved with some custom coding. To do it, you need to possess advanced programming skills and knowledge. If you need help, send a request to our Customisation team who do such work on a paid basis. Here is the link to the form where you can send a request: https://ecwidcom.typeform.com/to/vIlijv They will evaluate the project and email you a price quote and time frames.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Normally, if the tax is set to be included in product prices, Ecwid shows the note that tax is added.

    “VAT” in that note is the name of the applied tax as it’s set in your Ecwid Control Panel:

    So, if you need to show the percentage applied there too, you can name the tax accordingly, e.g.:

    And it will show up on product details pages:

    If you can’t get this note to show up for any reason, though, please send us the link to your website with the Ecwid store where we can check this out.

    Just in case: in the original post you mentioned that you set tax to 0%. Perhaps you should try setting it to any value that actually modifies the price?

    Hello!
    Ecwid Team here, thank you for the message!

    With Ecwid it will be absolutely possible to create an online catalog for your client where the customers will be able to browse the store and place the orders without actually paying for them, so the store owner can reach out to the customer later.

    Here are the basic steps on how to create such catalog:

    1) your client can import the products to Ecwid catalog using a .CSV file. This article has the instructions and the details on what product parameters can be imported to Ecwid: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/208079105-Importing-products

    2) if your client would not like the product prices to be shown in the store, it is possible to hide them with the help of the following CSS code:

    .ecwid-productBrowser-price {
        display: none;
    }

    The code can be applied in Ecwid Control Panel > Settings > Design. More details on how to change Ecwid design are given here: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/207807915-How-to-change-Ecwid-design

    3) in order to let the customers place the order without actually paying for it, you can set an offline payment method in your client’s store and call it “Payment options will be discussed over the e-mail”, for example. Here are the instructions on how to enable an offline payment method: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/207100429-Payment-options#Offlinepaymentmethods

    4) lastly, you will be able to change the store labels’ text with the help of the Storefront Label Editor application, available free in Ecwid App Market. For example, the default “Add to Bag” button can be renamed to “Request a quote”.

    I hope this information helps.

    In case you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Ecwid Support, we are always glad to help.

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

    Ecwid Customer Care team here.

    Good news — we have fixed the issue with prices for products with default option being different in category view and on the product details page.Now the prices are the same on the product page with preselected option and in category view.

    We are sorry for the trouble.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    Ecwid Customer Care team here.

    It might be possible to change the store behaviour when “Add to Bag” is clicked. This can be done with the help of a custom solution. You can develop it yourself or hire someone. If you decide to develop it yourself, I suggest that you check our developers’ portal at https://developers.ecwid.com/ there is a lot of information there.

    If you wish, I can forward your request to our customization service team so that they could get back to you with a price for developing this feature. Please let me know.

    Thank you!

    Bonjour,

    Ecwid est mis en 50 langues, la langue française y comprise. Permettez-nous de vous raconter, comment les traductions fonctionnent en Ecwid.

    Quand votre client visites votre magasin, Ecwid détermines la langue choisie dans le navigateur du client et affiches votre magasin en langue du navigateur automatiquement. Il vous faut rien changer dans les paramètres d’Ecwid. Voici un article détaillé à ce sujet en anglais: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/207808145-Ecwid-Translations

    Pour traduire votre boutique en français dans la part administrative, il est assez de changer la langue au coin inférieur gauche de votre panneau de contrôle Ecwid, voici une capture d’écran: http://take.ms/59mDp

    Cependant, la traduction d’interface des paramètres du plug-in Ecwid pour WordPress n’est pas complète. Si vous pouviez nous aider avec la traduction, nous vous serions très reconnaissants.

    Le soutien technique pour Ecwid est apportée en langues anglaise et russe. Nous serons heureux de vous aider!

    Kenika,

    We have an update for you, please disregard the previous message.

    We have found the reason of why you were unable to see the “ecwid_chameleon_colors_button” setting in options.php file. This problem has been resolved, the fix has been added to the new version of Ecwid plugin for WordPress, it will be released soon.

    Once you upgrade the plugin and have your hosting company solve the mentioned above problem with the maximum amount of data which can be sent with a POST request, you will be able to write the desired color codes to the “ecwid_chameleon_colors_button” setting in options.php.

    One more thing is, we have an update from our development team. They are going to release a new version of Ecwid Chameleon skin. There will be new CSS classes added, so the codes provided previously may not work in your store. Therefore we have created a new CSS code for you. This code is applicable to both old and new versions of Chameleon skin and will work in both editions.

    You can use this code as a workaround solution while you are waiting for the updated version of Ecwid plugin for WordPress. This workaround can be kept permanently in your store if you like. Please find the new code below:

    .chameleon div.ecwid button.ecwid-btn--primary,  div.ecwid button.ecwid-btn--primary { background-color: #ED9D2B; }

    .chameleon div.ecwid button.ecwid-btn--primary:hover, div.ecwid button.ecwid-btn--primary:hover { background-color: #747474; }

    Please let us know the results after you apply it to your active CSS theme.

    Kenika,

    We are sorry for this. Please try this variant of code, please:

    button.ecwid-btn--primary { background-color: #ED9D2B; }
    button.ecwid-btn--primary:hover { background-color: #747474; }

    It should work.

    Plugin Support ecwid_team

    (@ecwid_team)

    Kenika,

    By the way: The ecwid_chameleon settings are these:
    ecwid_chameleon_background
    ecwid_chameleon_links
    ecwid_chameleon_primary

    There is no ““ecwid_chameleon_colors_button” option though.

    We’re sorry for the confusion!

    It looks like some of the options we’ve added to the plugin recently such as “ecwid_chameleon_colors_button” sometimes may not appear on the list of options. We’re looking into this problem and fix it in one of the upcoming updates—we’ll let you know once the fix is live, please, stay tuned!

    Whenever I try to save a my settings, I’m getting this error page

    This error is related to your WordPress site itself, and in particular, to PHP or Apache settings on your server. Most likely, it has something to do with the maximum amount of data that can be sent with a POST request. I suggest you to get in touch with your hosting provider to find out the exact reason of this error message. Some links on the topic:

    Chameleon skin made the buttons #FF6600, whereas I prefer a #ED9D2B.
    And the hover color right now is a pale looking #FF944C. I’d like to have it in a grey #747474.

    I’m sorry the previous CSS codes didn’t work for you. It looks like we have to make it more specific. Please, add the below CSS snippet to your custom CSS theme in the Ecwid Control Panel → Settings → Design → Custom CSS Themes:

    html#ecwid_html body#top.chameleon button.ecwid-btn--primary { background-color: #ED9D2B; }
    html#ecwid_html body#top.chameleon button.ecwid-btn--primary:hover { background-color: #747474; }

    That code should do the trick.

    Kenika,

    In addition to the previous message. The code provided above will work, however, there is a better solution. Ecwid Chameleon skin for WordPress has hidden settings inside WordPress options.php. You can open the page options.php via a direct URL to it: http://www.dennisknickel.com/wp-admin/options.php

    There you will find “ecwid_chameleon_colors_button” setting where you should specify the desired active color for the buttons: #ED9D2B. The hover color will be created by Chameleon skin automatically.

    Hello Kenika,

    To change the colors of the Buy now button in your Product browser, please apply these CSS rules to your active CSS theme in Ecwid Control Panel -> Settings -> Design -> CSS themes:

    .ecwid .ecwid-btn--actionOK {
       background-color: #ED9D2B  !important;
    }

    .ecwid .ecwid-btn--actionOK:hover {
       background-color: #747474   !important;
    }

    If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
