In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack connection lostHey @dirkklostermann
Jetpack relies on the
xmlrpc.phpfile to connect with our systems. Right now, it looks like something is blocking that connection, causing Jetpack to disconnect.I’d suggest contacting your hosting provider and having them search into security logs for any blocked requests from our servers. Our requests look like the following:
– **File:** https://langohrwelt.com/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack
– **User-agent header:** Jetpack by WordPress.com
– **IPs:** https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/Let me know if you have any questions.
My best regards,
Michelle
Please ask them to allowlist the IP addresses listed above.`

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Unable to connect to JetpackThe errors on logs are related to the Blexbox service, not Jetpack.
If it’s still not working after you deactivate the service, there may be something else installed on the site that’s causing problems. The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict.
I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:
* **Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache.** Then try to connect Jetpack again. If the Jetpack connection works, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You can re-enable your plugins one by one, trying in between, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin developer for a fix.
* If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme. **Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like [Twenty Twenty-One](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentyone/).** Then try to connect Jetpack again. If the Jetpack connects, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.
Let me know if you have any questions.
My best regards,
Michelle

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Blog Stats WidgetHi @ataubin
The Jetpack Extra widgets are not working on your end because your site is not connected to the Jetpack systems correctly.
While debugging your site, the system shows an error: Invalid response code: 429.
The HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response status code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time (“rate limiting”).
You need to contact your hosting support once more and ask them to fix it for you.
Then, contact us back to check your Jetpack connection.
Let me know if you have any questions.
My best regards,
Michelle
Hi @johnnyivan
Jetpack servers are located in the USA. Could you ask the hosting support what they need to confirm that the IPs were allowed on the GeoIP, please?
Let me know if you have any questions.

Michelle

Hi @delaitec
You can request it as a feature in our < a href=”https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/new?assignees=&labels=%5BType%5D+Feature&template=feature-request.yml&title=Feature+Request%3A” target=”_blank”>Feature Request form
I’m afraid your customization request is beyond the scope of the support we can offer here at this moment.
Let me know if you have any questions.
My best regards,
Michelle
Hi @delaitec
I tested your request on my end and it worked, I deactivated the options on Jetpack Settings – Media and loaded the WordPress Settings – Media, and the options were not activated on WP Media.
This could be a browser cache issue or something that you have installed on your site that is causing the options to be activated.

If you want to open a single image in the lightbox, you can use the Attachment option.
But if you want to load the whole gallery, you don’t have to set the image’s link, just add them to the gallery and the Carousel will open the lightbox for the whole gallery.
I hope it clarifies your question.
