  • Hey Mike,

    I think you’re on to something here! Two .htaccess files should be okay as long as their rules don’t conflict with each other, but given your issue, it is something worth looking into. This will be best addressed by your hosting provider though.

    Please note, that this issue does not occur on admin panel in page edit mode – translation is fine here. The bug is only on frontend.

    Yes, that is noted. For context, I ran tests with English, Spanish, and Polish to compare “Shipping Method” in the front end and the back end. It looks like the back end is using “Shipping” but front end is using “Shipping method.”

    As a possible workaround, you may want to try a translation plugin like Loco Translate to translate instances of “Shipping method.” If you’re interested, we have steps on how you can do that here: Creating custom translations with Loco Translate.

    @jonasojczyk, I tried checking your pages again:

    https://www.gallerifusion.dk/kurv/
    https://www.gallerifusion.dk/kasse/

    I’m not seeing anything there right now though. Would you be able to share with us a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    In the meantime, you may also want to check with your hosting provider about any caching they may have on their end. Please ask them to exclude the following from caching:

    – My Account
    – Cart
    – Checkout

    Hi, @boppar!

    Sorry for the lack of responses here as this one was a little trickier to figure out.

    Can you please try the following CSS?

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    	.wp-block-cover__inner-container h2 {
    		position: relative;
    		top: -100 px;
    	}

    	.wp-block-cover__inner-container div {
    		position: relative;
    		bottom: -100 px;
    	}
    }

    Just wanted to give you an update here, @dalias!

    I ran some tests and I was able to reproduce the issue you’re seeing. I’ve passed my findings along to the developers, and they say that it looks like this issue is not related to the one being fixed here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/, so we’ll need to investigate further.

    As before, however, I’ll keep you informed of what we find!

    Hi, @jonasojczyk!

    First of all, I’m glad you were able to get your site up and running again.

    Second, I looked at the pages you linked to and it is very strange, but as Joey mentioned, this is likely conflicting code.

    Are you able to get a staging copy of your site up and running? That should give you a safer way of conflict testing. Usually, your hosting provider should be able to help you set one up. You can also use a plugin like WP STAGING for that. Of course, for testing on the staging site to be effective, you’ll want to make sure the issue occurs there too.

    Hi, @cuttycliffy!

    I’m honestly running out of ideas here, but I’m wondering if the error is due to things being called in the wrong order, which can happen especially with caching and optimization plugins. Can you see if disabling Autoptimize helps?

    If that doesn’t help, the issue may be from another plugin, in which case a full conflict test may be in order. For that, you can refer to our documentation here: How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts.

    Hi, @epsiloncool! We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. However, we’ll be here if/when you’re ready to continue.

    Hi, @brenwale!

    As Stuart previously mentioned, for further assistance with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, please post your question in the Facebook for WooCommerce forum, so that dedicated support for the plugin can help you look into your issue.

    In your new thread, please also include a screenshot of where you’re seeing the commerce account still being connected, just to give support more context.

    Hi, @cpkid1!

    Probably an obvious question, but worth immediately getting out of the way as I haven’t experienced the same thing in my own sites. Is auto-updating enabled for the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin in your plugins list?

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/pohWs7

    If that’s been enabled, you may want to check on your site’s file/folder permissions in case that may point to why it’s only WooCommerce Shipping & Tax that can’t be auto-updated. Your hosting provider should be able to assist you with that.

    Thank you for sharing the System Status Report and the additional information, @musabruzgar! From your site’s System Status Report, it looks good and key software are all up-to-date too.

    I’ve looked into the Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewCategory Event error again, and while I mentioned that we haven’t received recent reports of it, it was something we’ve brought up with the Facebook team before.

    Their response was that the error should not occur often. If it does, it may be due to customers using ad-blockers. The advice from Facebook is to go to your Facebook Events Manger, and clear the message by clicking on “Resolve”. Then, continue to monitor the situation if the message re-appears.

    As far as your Facebook pixel goes, you mentioned the following:

    I also have an issue with Facebook pixel. Facebook created catalog itself, i have 30 products on my site but Facebook took just 4 of them for the catalog which is weird and i never understood why. I tried to check this out on Facebook end, but no clues. When i try to add items to catalog via Facebook pixel, it says pixel is not ready and the exact warning is : ‘This pixel’s microdata is incomplete or incorrectly formatted

    Can you please clarify for us what you mean by “When i try to add items to catalog via Facebook pixel”? Can you walk us through this process? For instance, are you using the Facebook sync on your WooCommerce store or using a different method for adding products to your catalog?

    Hi, @frank30026!

    There are a few things we can check here.

    First, make sure you’re using the latest version of the “Facebook for WooCommerce” plugin, 2.6.1. You can find that here: Facebook for WooCommerce.

    Second, if you still experience issues, it may be that your currency is not supported. If your WooCommerce default currency is not on this list, some folks have had success temporarily changing their currency to a supported one (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR) to connect and then changing it back afterward. However, this isn’t an officially recommended workaround so we can’t guarantee that it will work.

    Third, if that still doesn’t work:

    1. Deactivate the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and delete it.
    2. Go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php (please change yoursite.com to your URL)
    3. Search for wc_facebook_external_business_id, update the field to include only ASCII characters and save. Best practice: use your store name plus a 13-digit random string, e.g., store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q
    4. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Business Integrations. Click on the checkbox next to “WooCommerce Integration” and click on the blue “Remove” button
    5. Re-install the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, and go through the setup process again

    Please give my suggestions a go, and let us know if you continue having issues!

    Hi, @musabruzgar!

    The only way to achieve that step was download the version of Facebook plug in that Facebook sugggests in the setup steps(It is previous version,but i am not sure how previous).

    Can you please point us to where Facebook recommends a certain version of the plugin?

    For reference, on our end, we always recommend using the latest version, which is now 2.6.1.

    The Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewCategory Event message is also not something we’ve seen recently, and it may be due to using an outdated version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. So, before anything else, we would suggest that you use the latest version which you can find here: Facebook for WooCommerce.

    I know you mentioned only being able to connect using a specific version of the Facebook plugin, but often, issues are resolved simply by updating because updates contain fixes. We can also help you troubleshoot any connection issues using the latest version of the plugin.

    After updating to the latest version of the plugin, can you also please share a copy of your System Status Report with us? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    Hi, Shridhar @shridharkagi!

    What you can do is go to the order the user made as a guest, then add their new account under “Customer” and save the change:

    After that, the user should now see the order they placed as a guest in their My Account > Orders page.

    Hi, @brenwale!

    Just to make sure we’re on the same page, do you want to remove the WooCommerce plugin or the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin?

    If it’s Facebook for WooCommerce, you can follow the steps here: Facebook for WooCommerce: Uninstall Plugin and Remove WooCommerce Facebook App.

    If it’s just WooCommerce, you can deactivate and uninstall the plugin from WP Admin > Plugins > Installed Plugins.
