Hi @tomsh,
Sorry for the trouble,
It looks like there’s a bug in which certain characters and HTML is not parsed and not displayed properly.
A report has been created about this issue to notify our development team about it. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.
For the time being, you can switch to a different lightbox effect from NextGEN Gallery > Other Options > Lightboxeffects to see if that’ll allow displaying HTML tags.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!

Hi @ebourlas,
It looks like there’s a possible issue that can cause the image pixelation with NextGEN Gallery.
A report has been created about this issue to notify our development team about it. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you can try disabling NextGEN Gallery usage of Imagick library by adding the following line to your wp-config.php file then re-uploading or restoring them from the backup:
define('NGG_DISABLE_IMAGICK', true);Save the file, then delete and re-upload the images that were generated as pixelated to see if they will correctly display.
Let me know how it went!
Thanks
Hi @konservat0r,
Thanks for sharing the gallery URL,
To fix the issue, I recommend enabling the Lazy Loading option for that particular gallery with the issue. To enable the lazy loading, navigate to WordPress dashboard > Envira Gallery > Envira Gallery (Choose Gallery Here) > Configuration. Check-in the Lazy Loading option and clear the cache that should fix the issue.
Thanks!
Hi @konservat0r,
Thanks for writing us,
Upon checking, I didn’t find any gallery created using Envira Gallery on your setup. If the issue persists on galleries created by Envira Gallery, could you please share the gallery page URL so that I can check and help you with an appropriate solution!
Thanks
Hi @suportesacchi,
Thanks for reaching back,
Unfortunately, you cannot open the lightbox and custom link simultaneously. Instead, you should select one option at a time.
If you want to open the image in Lightbox mode, you must turn off the custom link and enable the Lightbox mode. Likewise, to redirect the image to another page when clicked, turn off the lightbox and allow the custom link option.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!

Hi @oldmovies,
Thanks for writing us,
It looks like there might be a conflict between the NextGEN Gallery and another plugin activated on your end.
If you’d like to test for conflict, please deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery to see if there are any changes to the issue. If so, you can reactivate them one by one while observing for any change to the plugin to identify the conflicting plugin.
After you find the defective plugin, deactivate the plugin and activate the NextGEN Gallery, which should resolve the issue on your end.
Thanks! 🙂
Thanks for reaching out!
To convert the image to WEBP file format, you can use the third-party plugin like WP Smush, Imagick or EWWW Image Optimizer. These tool converts the image to WEBP that’s supported by the NextGEN Gallery.
Thanks!
Hi @anguria65,
We’d be happy to help!
Upon checking, the breadcrumb is not duplicated on album area. Only a single breadcrumb link appears as shown in the screenshot here.
If you’re still experiencing the issue with breadcrumb, please share the screenshot and I will get back to you.
Thanks!
Hi @jeromes04,
Thanks for reaching out,
If the main site is cloned without changing anything in the database, the same shortcode works for both sites. The cloned site should be an exact copy of the main and should contain the same galleries,
Since you have raised the topic of Multisite, NextGEN Gallery is compatible with the Multisite setup. However, each site created under Multisite is different, and the same shortcode doesn’t work for all sites. You’ll need to create separate galleries for each site that generates different shortcodes.
I hope this helps. Feel free to get back of any confusion or issues.
Thanks! 🙂

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] FontawesomeHi @aestheticdesign,
Thanks for reaching out!
Basically, the FontAwesome JavaScript file typically loads the icons on your site, such as social media icons, buttons and any other elements that use FontAwesome. However, if you’re not using those icons or don’t notice any visual differences after disabling it, it might cause any effect on your site.
Let me know if you get any issues after disabling the file and I will help you further.
Thanks
Hi @suportesacchi,
To resolve the issue, I recommend disabling the custom links when turning on the lightbox. Having both the lightbox and custom links active could be causing the problem.
To disable the custom link, I suggest checking the guideline and work accordingly: https://enviragallery.com/docs/using-external-links-in-envira-gallery/
Thanks!
