Hi @jdesmatao,
Thank you for your question. Please consider the following suggestions.
- Clear or flush the WP Rocket cache.
- Check that the Afterpay minimum and maximum order values have been loaded into the plugin settings page. If not, the API credentials may not have been entered correctly.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Compatibility with Aelia Multi-currencyHi @visser,
Thanks for your question. The Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin is not expected to have functional conflicts with currency converter plugins. This is because Afterpay will become hidden from the product pages and checkout if the customer selects a checkout currency that differs from the store currency.
@willrossi, thanks for offering this suggestion. However, Afterpay do not recommend making these changes, as they can cause payments to be processed for incorrect amounts.
Afterpay will only process payments in the currency of the merchant account – the WooCommerce store currency. If the merchant has Cross Border Trade (CBT) available, the currency conversion will take place inside the Afterpay payment window, not at the WooCommerce checkout.
Please reach out to your Business Development Manager if you wish to discuss Cross Border Trade.
Thank you.
Thank you for your message. This information has been forwarded to the development team for further investigation and discussion. Preliminary investigation has suggested that this JavaScript was ported from the CSS file where multiple values for “display” are permitted. In future, the vendor prefixes will likely be removed from this JavaScript as you have suggested, since jQuery has apparently handled these prefixes automatically since version 1.8.0.
Any subsequent updates to the Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin will be distributed via the official WordPress Plugin Directory.
Thank you.
Thank you for your messages.
If there are two distinct and separate websites, one for processing transactions in AUD and the other for NZD, then a dedicated Afterpay Merchant account will be required for each currency. Each account will need to have a bank account nominated for the settlement of funds in the local currency.
Please reach out to your Business Development Manager (BDM), the member of the Sales Team who originally set up your Afterpay Merchant account, to apply for a second account.

Hi @jvluca,
Thank you for your message.
While it is not possible to perform compatibility tests for a practically infinite number of plugin configurations, the Afterpay plugin does include a Compatibility Mode to reduce potential for conflicts with other plugins as much as possible. The main trade-off is that it allows WooCommerce to create the Order as soon as the customer proceeds to Afterpay from the final page of the WooCommerce checkout. This can potentially result in a high volume of cancelled orders, as unpaid orders will be cancelled automatically if payment is not confirmed within an hour.
The team’s recommendations are as follows:
- Update the Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin to the latest version (if applicable)
- Enable Compatibility Mode from the WordPress Admin by checking the “Compatibility Mode” box at “WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Afterpay” and clicking to save changes.
Thank you.
Hi @bencalder,
The team would like to thank you for your contribution to the resolution of this item.
The WooThemes message described in this topic was indeed triggered by a legacy feature of the Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin, and has been removed in version 2.1.3.
Thank you.
Hi @dribgib and @danniee21,
Version 2.1.3 has now been released. Please remember to disable Compatibility Mode after applying the update.
Thank you.
Hi @danniee21,
After a separate investigation into the same behaviour reported from another source, it has been identified that a change introduced in version 2.1.2 may cause this challenge for some users. A resolution is in progress and expected to be released as part of version 2.1.3 next week. In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, please consider switching the plugin into Compatibility Mode to address this challenge.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Conflice preventing checkoutHi @johnc1979,
Thank you for your message.
This is a known challenge affecting websites that use the Divi theme builder from version 3.29.3. It was addressed by Elegant Themes in the 4.0 release of the Divi theme.
Please engage your web development team to perform any necessary backups and then update to the latest version of the Divi theme.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] API ErrorHi @looneylui,
Thanks for your message.
This error usually indicates that the web host has restricted the use of the
parse_ini_filePHP function. The plugin’s dependency on the use of this function is scheduled to be removed in the next release. In the meantime, please consider contacting the web hosting provider and request for this function to be removed from the “disable_functions” list.If further support is required, please feel free to create a ticket via the Afterpay Help Centre here:

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Afterpay Runtime errorHi @kristymorton,
Thanks for your message.
The team have attempted a test order from the website and observed a 500 Internal Server Error generated by the website. When this occurs, there is generally a corresponding error logged by the web server, which is sometimes accessible from within the WordPress admin.
