@magdigit I received your Diagnostics and I’m getting some other opinions internally. Thanks for the feedback everyone. We’ll post back here with more info soon.
Hi,
Wordfence does not automatically update itself by default. Do you have the option in WordPress to automatically update plug-ins selected?
Have you had your hosting company check permissions on wp-admin and wp-ajax.php?
In the latest version of Wordfence on the Diagnostic page, there is an option to Send Report by Email. If you change the name to brian from samples, it will get sent to me and I can have an engineer take a look.
I apologize for the issues and understand your frustration. Thanks for your patience as we work through troubleshooting.
Thanks!
-BrianIf you look on the Wordfence diagnostics page do you see any errors listed? Especially for MySQL.
Here is how to remove Wordfence and table data:
Hi all,
If you are receiving ajax errors in your log files, have your host check the permissions on wp-admin and admin-ajax.php.
Also, if you have Falcon Cache (Performance) enabled, you will not see Live Traffic or have drop-downs in the new version.
If anyone is able, try removing Wordfence and all table data and then do a fresh install of Wordfence. There could have been an issue during the upgrade process and a clean install (not an upgrade install) may help.

Hi,
Good question. Blocked means not able to access the site and locked means unable to login. Blocking works to keep unwanted traffic from your site like a fake web crawler that is hitting your site too frequently. Locking keeps unauthorized login access from occurring with WordPress user accounts. An example would be if an actual account name was guessed or discovered and a brute force password attack was being performed on that account. Locking would keep them from attempting any more login attempts to guess the password.

Hi,
Sorry that email isn’t working. I know it can be frustrating when you don’t receive alerts when you are expecting them. Let’s try a quick test. Go to the Wordfence Diagnostics page and try sending a test email from there. Let us know the results.
Thanks,
BrianHi MTN,
The drop-down performs filtering on the data collected by Live Traffic. Live Traffic still collects all data regardless of the filter and stores it in the database. The filter is a new function that gives you a quick way to search for a specific type of traffic.
Hope that helps,
BrianHi,
If you disable the Firewall, does the problem go away? The interaction could be caused by all three plugins being enabled at the same time. Something to try to narrow down the issue would be to disable all plugins but Wordfence. Then reenable one plugin and see if there is conflict. Disable that plugin and enable another plugin and check again.

Hi,
This is an older thread involving invalid tokens. It may be a place to start. Let us know if the suggestions in that thread help or not.

Also, try turning on the “Disable config caching” option on the Wordfence Options page.
Hi,
As you may know, Windows server is unsupported currently. Not being able to save settings is usually an issue with AJAX and wp-admin. Check to make sure wp-admin has the correct permissions.

Hi,
A few questions to help get you an answer. Are you having trouble saving other settings or just Live Traffic? Did you upgrade from a previous version or is this a new install?
You could try turning on the “Disable config caching” option on the Wordfence Options page.
Thanks,
BrianHi Steve,
Yes, the referrer and user agent are blank.
You can set the length of a block under Options. The default time is 5 minutes.
Does that help? Thanks for using Wordfence!
-BrianHi CKing,
If you do not want WAF on your site, go to the Firewall tab and select Disable. You’ll still have all the other security benefits of Wordfence.

Hi Ramsey,
Currently, we do not officially support Windows. There are others running Wordfence on MS though. Here is a recent discussion:
