Hi,
How long do you have the block set? The default is 5 minutes. If you are viewing blocked IP’s after the 5 minutes have passed, the block will have expired and the IP won’t be listed in blocked IP’s any longer. Did you make the blocks in Live Traffic permanent?
Thanks!
BrianHi,
If you are unable to delete, you may have an issue with another plugin interfering with AJAX on your site. Are you having trouble saving settings in Wordfence? You may want to try deactivating all plugins except Wordfence to see if that permits Wordfence to function as expected.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of ways to attack a site. If you are on shared hosting, another site on the same server could be the cause. Definitely, make sure you have plugins and themes updated and remove any that are unnecessary. Also, change all passwords to your site if you haven’t.

Hi,
Have you added any new plugins? We’ve seen some incompatibility with other plugins that are not fully updated for the latest version of WordPress causing settings to not be saved, i.e. an Error Occurred. One suggestion is to disable all 3rd party plugins except Wordfence and try to save an IP address. If it blocks, then add plugins back until you find the plugin causing the issue.

Hi Lisa,
We are not able to answer questions on the paid version of Wordfence here due to the forum rules. You can find more information here:
https://www.wordfence.com/blog/
Or contact presales @ wordfence dot com.
We have a library here that talks about recovering from an attack:
https://www.wordfence.com/learn/
Check out 1.6 on that page.
Hope that helps,
BrianHi,
I was able to see your site on iPhone and iPad using Safari 9.3. You may need to empty the browser cache on your devices.

Hi,
Can you confirm the you are running Wordfence 3.2.5 currently? If you are unable to update, you may want to try doing a removal of Wordfence and table data and then installing the latest version which is 6.1.8.

Hi,
Who is your hosting provider and can you confirm the file is on the same server?
Thanks!
BrianHi,
Wordfence does not automatically add files to “Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns.” Is it possible they were added at some point on your end?

Hi,
Have you tried changing how Wordfence gets IP’s to X-Forwarded-For HTTP header? Try that and it should help.
Here is more info:

Hi Phillip,
That’s a definite possibility. Does the Modal/AJAX method add the users to the WordPress user database? The WordPress user DB is where Wordfence looks for existing users. Would it be possible to test by creating a new user via regular WordPress and see if the block happens with that user?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Are you able to send and receive a test email from the Diagnostics page?

Hi,
Most likely, there is a vulnerability in a theme or plugin on your site. Delete any unused themes and plugins and then update all remaining themes and plugins. Also, since you are on a shared host, the possibility exists that vulnerability is elsewhere on the server in another hosting account. You could alert your host to that possibility.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Most likely. We’ve seen issues with saving caused by other plugins that have not been updated to work with the new version of WordPress. I’d suggest disabling all plugins except Wordfence and see if you are able to save. Then reintroduce one plugin at a time to narrow it down.

BrianHi,
What is the text accompanying the 503 error? Are you able to disable Varnish?
