I have set up the WAF but now I have a problem with debugging my site.

I use PHPStorm and Xdebug. For some reason wordfence-waf.php makes the debugger break execution on this file.

I am assuming this is something to do with how it works but I can’t figure out why it breaks code execution.

I have all my mappings set up correctly but for some reason PHPStorm always wants to stop execution on this file several times every page load.

Any idea what is going on an how to avoid it?

    Hi,

If you disable the Firewall, does the problem go away? The interaction could be caused by all three plugins being enabled at the same time. Something to try to narrow down the issue would be to disable all plugins but Wordfence. Then reenable one plugin and see if there is conflict. Disable that plugin and enable another plugin and check again.

Which 3 plugins are you referring to?

PHPStorm is an IDE. Xdebug is a PHP debugger.

Good support you guys give to paying customers

You can’t use this forum if you’re using the premium version of WordFence (WordPress support forum policy – nothing to do with WordFence).
As a premium subscriber, you can open a support ticket directly with them.

I’ve always found WordFence support to be exemplary and very responsive for both Premium AND free support.
