Hi,
The logs are constantly being pruned in order to keep the size of the database down so there is no set amount of time they are available.

In reply to: [Wordfence Security - Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security] ProblemHi,
Are you having issues with saving any other settings? It could be possible that there are permissions issues on your database. Is this a new install of Wordfence?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Wordfence Security - Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security] EmailHi,
If you send a test email from Wordfence’s options, do you receive it?

Hi,
Those settings should be fine. Is this a new install of Wordfence? Do you have any other security plugins installed and enabled?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Outdated themes and plugins are the number one way a site is compromised. Make sure to keep them updated and delete any unused plugins and themes. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to change your password just to be safe.

Alan,
Looks like the files are in wfcache. Try turning off cacheing and then reenabling. This will empty the cache and rebuild it.

Hi,
There is not currently a way to whitelist a user-agent. I’ll check and see if we have a feature request already. If not, I will add it.

Hi Alan,
Glad to hear you had a backup and were able to restore. I recommend starting with this document from our WordPress Security Fundamentals. It should get you going.

If settings aren’t saving, try checking the javascript error console in your browser while you try to save. Usually, options not saving means that AJAX in wp-admin is not working correctly or being blocked. Some plugins can block AJAX or your permissions may just need adjusting.
Sorry for missing you the first time and I hope this helps you out.
-BrianHi,
Passwords are evaluated on several criteria and given a score. If the score is too low, the password is rejected as weak. Using more characters will give you a higher score as will upper/lowercase, etc.

Thanks!
-BrianHi,
Are you positive it is Wordfence causing the issue? Do you have any other plugins installed? I’d recommend disabling each plugin and reenabling them one at a time to isolate the issue.

Hi,
Whenever Wordfence locks a user out it provides a “Reason:” with a reason describing why you’re locked out. This message can help figure out which firewall rule is causing the issue.

Hi,
Are you getting any memory errors? Make sure you have enough memory allocated to your site.

You can remove the Wordfence folder from your site using FTP and the should get you back in.

Hi,
Your host may be blocking connections to our servers. Please try running the Connectivity Test. If you are unable to connect, check with your hosting provider.
Thanks!
