Hi,
We recommend only using one cacheing plugin at a time since there can be conflicts.

Hi,
Are you possibly using a VPN? If you go to https://www.whatismyip.com/my-ip-information/ what does it say for your location?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
That may just be a temporary issue. On the Wordfence Options page, click the link near the bottom that says “Click to test connectivity to the Wordfence API servers”, and post the results here. If all of the tests say that they “passed”, please try running the scan again, and see if you have an error message again.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
Do you have “Hold anonymous comments using member emails for moderation” checked under options? It is on by default so try unchecking it and see if that helps.

Hi,
Your .htaccess file will already be created and is on your server. What this error is saying is that the .htaccess file for your site is missing that code. If you’re unsure how to modify .htaccess, you may want to check with your hosting provider.

Hi Seb,
Are you able to get clean versions of the infected files and replace the infected files? I’m including a link to our guide on cleaning a site.

BrianHi,
When preferences don’t save it usually means that something is blocking AJAX on your site. In your browser, enable the javascript error console. Try to save a setting and see if you notice any errors. You may have a permissions issue on wp-admin.

Hi,
Since you have a backup and you are suspicious of the file, go ahead and delete it. If anything breaks, you can always restore form the backup.

Hi,
Try the steps listed here first:
https://docs.wordfence.com/en/My_scans_don%27t_finish._What_would_cause_that%3F
Also, we’ve identified an issue with temporary scan data that affects sites with certain database settings, and are working on a permanent fix. Sometimes removing old inactive plugins and themes can help as well.

Hi,
Currently, there is not a way to output traffic, adjust the size of the tables, or the time period. Due to the live nature of Live Traffic, the logs would get very large if we kept more data. Right now it’s a tradeoff to keep performance on the site up and the table size small.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Check with your hosting provider and see how much memory they have allocated to your site. You may need to get them to make an adjustment for you.

Hi Mike,
The line “/hsphere/local/home/mike123/bowriverblog.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/” makes it look like that other cache plugin is installed on your host. It’s recommended to only use one cache plugin for a site. If you do have another cache plugin, you should disable(or remove it) if you are using Falcon Cache in Wordfence.
