Hi,
Are you running on a Windows server? This might mean that your host has a version of PHP that does not support IPv6. And would be independent of the version of Wordfence.
You can check if this is the case by going to the Wordfence Options page, then scrolling to the bottom to find the link “Click to view your system’s configuration in a new window” — click the link and search for the line labeled “IPv6 Support.” (It should be in the first table.)
If it says “enabled”, let us know here.
If it says “disabled” or if it’s missing, your host would need to update PHP to include support for IPv6.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Currently, exporting Live Traffic data is not possible.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
If you email the file to samples (at) wordfence.com, we’ll take a look.
Thanks,
BrianWe haven’t been experiencing any issues with our servers. Were scans working on your site previously? Has anything changed on your sites? New plugins added, etc? If settings won’t save that can be an indication of AJAX being blocked. Check the javascript error console in a browser when trying to save and look for any errors.
Hi Vanessa,
You may need to change “How does Wordfence get IPs” in your Wordfence options. This happens most often if the server is running a “reverse proxy,” so Wordfence needs to read the visitors’ IP addresses differently.
Details of the various options are explained here:

Are you still seeing issues? I haven’t seen any service degradation alerts this evening.

Hi Manthan,
Looks like it may be related to a theme on your site? Make sure to update all plugins and themes. Delete unused plugins and themes.

We shouldn’t be blocking google. You can whitelist the IP if you’d like.

Hi,
Try excluding the files it is getting hung up on and running another scan. Also, try disabling Live Traffic and see if that helps things. That will free up some processor overhead.

Hi,
A few questions. Is your site in a subfolder? Is your .htaccess file being written to when Falcon is enabled? Try enabling Basic Caching and see if that works correctly.

I haven’t seen any workarounds or documentation on using them together. Generally, it’s not a good idea to implement two solutions that accomplish the same task, though I do know that mod_pagespeed works quite differently than Falcon.

Hi,
Sorry if I wasn’t clear. You are correct, the problem is not the browser. You are using the browser to check for javascript errors with your site. This may help:
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Do you have any caching plugins enabled? You’ll need to disable those too. If you still can’t get in, it’s recommended that you open a support ticket with your hosting provider as there is probably a bigger issue.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
If WordPress isn’t sending mail at all, you may have a problem with WP’s built-in mail (PHP mail() function). You can try sending a test email from inside of Wordfence. If you do not receive it, then you’ll need to troubleshoot your WordPress install.

Hi Glen,
That should block anyone using that username. You can also permanently block IP’s. You can do this once they are locked out and then select permanently block.
