• In the last few days in the email that wordfence sends with login information I have noticed that the login location is not from my country.
Before it showed me to be loging in from a city not far from where I live, but now it shows that a user with administrative privileges, and my username has logged in from Pensacola Fla?
I have the same issue with a website that is hosted on Bluehost, and another that is hosted on Godaddy. What gives?

  • Hi,

Are you possibly using a VPN? If you go to https://www.whatismyip.com/my-ip-information/ what does it say for your location?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hello Brian

    Thank you for the reply.
The url that you give me has an IP address and the following information:
    City: san jose pinula
    State/Region: guatemala
    Country: gt –
    Postal Code: 01052
    Time Zone: ETC -06:00
    ISP: telgua

Before it would show me loging in from Mixco although San Jose Pinula is closer to where I am.

    Regards
    Steve
