Hi,
On the Live Traffic page, find an IP you want to block and click block. Then, click on Blocked IP’s and find the IP you blocked under Live Traffic. It will give you an option to make the block permanent. Does that help?
Thanks!
BrianChris,
You could try disabling Live Traffic. That has helped some.
Check the cron viewer at the bottom of the options page. What does it report?
Thanks!
BrianHi Clint,
Leave the compression Disabled in the CPANEL. You may want to disable the DEFLATE line for html since Falcon will already be cacheing. The javascript line should be OK.

Hi Ramsey,
Disabling individual alerts is currently not available. You could set up a rule in your email program to move the alerts from the Inbox to a folder and mark them as read. This can easily be done at the server level with something like Google Mail.

Hi,
Yes, that is correct. Since IP’s on the Internet are dynamic in nature, blocking an IP permanently could inadvertently block legitimate traffic to a site. The permanent block function is there to manually block IP’s that are definitely not wanted.

Are you asking about Live Traffic?

Hi Axel,
Do you have any other security plugins installed and activated? We’ve seen conflicts with this feature caused by other plugin.
Thanks,
BrianHi Wendy,
I just did a traceroute to noc1.wordfence.com and it worked normally. If things are not saving you may have database issue. You could try removing Wordfence and all table data and then trying a clean install.

Hi,
I’d recommend making a backup of your site and then follow the guide “How to Clean a Hacked Site.”
https://www.wordfence.com/learn/how-to-clean-a-hacked-website/
That should get you started.

Hi Todd,
Errors in the browser console usually indicate an issue with AJAX and wp-admin. Check the permissions on wp-admin. Also, try disabling any other plugins and only enable Wordfence. If there is an incompatibility with another plugin, this will help you track it down. Reenable plugins one by one and test.

Have you tried totally removing Wordfence and table data and then doing a reinstall of Wordfence?

Hi,
They are probably accessing via XMLRPC. This is an interface that some mobile apps use. Here is more info on it.

Hi,
If you ignore permanently, then you will not be notified. Select ignore until file changes.
Hope that helps,
BrianCarl,
Does it function normally when the cache is disabled? That may be a workaround. Also, another alternative is to try excluding the pages the other plugin creates from cache. “Cheatin’ huh” appears to be more of an issue with WordPress.
