I’ll start by saying the plugins works fine ( the firewall blocks around 300 hits per day ), so I’m glad I’m working with wordfence.
I need to add an user-agent into the whitelist because some crawlers are using cloud-based connections ( have no idea what ip are they going to use or what range ), but I do know the user-agent that will be used.
Most of the SEO crawlers use this type of connection, and it will help my website management a lot if I’ll be able to add allow them ( turning the firewall off is out of the question and adding one ip or range in the whitelist it only resolves the issue for a couple of hours ).
    Thank you.

  • Hi,

There is not currently a way to whitelist a user-agent. I’ll check and see if we have a feature request already. If not, I will add it.

Need to whitelist a dudamobile user agent so it can create/update their mobile site. Just upgraded to premium. Has the feature been added yet?

    Thank you,

    brian,

You have this marked as resolved but there’s no update to where the feature request is. Can you give any information related to adding the user agent manually?
