In reply to: Thesis theme text problem after import from bloggerFor the less technical, you can always copy/paste the complete post into Word, Notepad or any other text editor (I like Notepad++), then do a global replace of <div>, </div>, <p> and </p> by nothing. Afterwards, copy/paste and overwrite what was in the original post.
Time consuming, but not too bad with 70 posts or less. An automatic solution is a lot quicker, and less prone to error as well.
I don’t have this plugin, but I do have the same problem with the Visual Editor not working in the last 2 days. I suspect something else is coded incorrectly and causing this. My sites are in sub-folders too.

In reply to: Visual and HTML Editor are missingBeware of adding a “;” to the url and saving, because then your site will not work! You will have to patch the url in the database tables using SQL.
Got my site back, but still no solution to my Visual Editor problem.

In reply to: Visual Editor WordPress 3.1I’m having this problem with all my WordPress sites today, it just started. Hoping this last link above this reply works…

In reply to: Visual and HTML Editor are missingNone of these seem to apply to me, but all of my WordPress hosted sites have the same problem with the Visual Editor not working.
I don’t have Minify or the other plugins mentioned, but I wonder if my Theme might be giving problems with JQuery.
Hoping I can get this resolved soon, very frustrating.

In reply to: visual not working on page editorAll my WordPress sites seem to be doing this today, regardless of the Theme that they are using or the plugins.
When I try to edit a post, either the content does not show up, or only in HTML mode. When I click on VISUAL mode, the additional editing buttons do not show up.
Not sure what has happened, since it’s more than one domain.

In reply to: WordPress not updatingIt didn’t resolve my problems, but since the update I am getting the following errors from all 3 updated sites on my host cgi-error log:
PHP Warning: Unknown: open(/var/php_sessions/sess_6388aaaa3f32a3a59290fb888a5ab936, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0
My session folder is empty, but does have the right permissions (0755).
I am curious to know what changed in the last update to cause this.

In reply to: add adsense code or same text at the end of all past postsAdsense Integrator works pretty good.
Since the post page only exists when it is viewed, you only have to set up ads at the end of each post in the plugin.
Just a thought. If your old posts are not showing the adsense code, could you be viewing a cached copy?

In reply to: Problems After 3.1.4 Update – Sites DownI did get some timeout messages which might have come from my ISP as well. Could explain why I can access the site from work but not home.
At least (touch wood) the site appears to be working again.

In reply to: Problems After 3.1.4 Update – Sites DownThanks.
Yes I did this yesterday evening, manually uploaded everything except wp-content, even made sure I had the latest wp-config.php since my original was missing a few new variables.
I just did some checking and things seem to be working ok again, at least when I access 2 of my sites from work.
When accessing from home 7 hours ago, the first was still locking up, and the second inaccessible, would not load.
Since I had a timeout while upgrading to 3.1.4 in the first place, and the troubles did not appear immediately, but seemed to coincide with a maintenance session at my host, I have been wondering if the problem was due to them changing something.
Their support forums didn’t show anyone else with problems, but maybe they fixed something.
I wondered if my issues could be related to caching / temp files in Firefox, but I did clear my cookies and temp files yesterday several times.
Guess when I get home tonight I will see if all is well there.
Don’t you just hate it when you can’t figure out what is wrong! I can only do so much lateral thinking without going into a complete panic.

In reply to: Problems After 3.1.4 Update – Sites DownI find it odd I’m the only one having this problem. If not me, the theme I am using (Quickpress 1.4) or my host (POWWEB), then I am at a loss.

In reply to: Can't log into dashboardI have been having similar problems after upgrading to 3.1.4.
I’m not sure exactly what is causing the problems, but my pages fail to complete loading and then timeout.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Visual editor not working on any of my sitesIt was just a thought. Good Luck…

In reply to: Visual editor not working on any of my sitesHas the page fully loaded, or is it stuck before it has finished loading, when you go to add/edit a post?
One of the problems I am having since updating to 3.1.4 is that some pages are hanging. When I go to edit a post, often the loading just continues until I get a timeout.

In reply to: Problems After 3.1.4 Update – Sites DownWhether this helps or not, after trying to add/update a post for example, I get this timeout message. It may be coming from my ISP (plus.net)..
