In reply to: Numeric List With Reversed Numbers Not WorkingThanks very much everyone. I guess if it’s a problem with the theme, that would definitely explain why it works as it should within WordPress but not when displayed “live” on the page.
Not many people use numbered lists reversed I suppose and this was just an odd occasion, revising an old page and converting it to the block editor.
I will ask them over at Customizr. Really appreciate the help.

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Chrome says about problem with plugin’s cookieI have the same here on my sites, and funnily enough one of the offenders is google.co.uk!
Several years ago I tried using ads from a couple of other companies instead of Google Adsense. I ended up with ads that had hacking code in them. You might find it’s the ads that have the code in them, not ad inserter itself.

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not DisplayingI think it’s working ok, because I see ads on some pages, but only about 1:10. Must just be Google deciding whether to insert ads or not. The length of the post doesn’t seem to matter as far as I can tell.
I don’t know if switching to Guttenberg for new posts will make a difference or not. I’m still using the classic editor.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not DisplayingI am right in not defining any block settings? As I understand it, Google decides where to place. Will see if having reset everything and fixed the JQuery loading problem if it now works.
It could be the theme I am using, or potentially the shared hosting plan as well.
Fingers crossed, and thanks for the help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] PHP ErrorPleased to help. Every new update of WordPress or PHP provides a challenge.

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not DisplayingI believe I have fixed the JQuery problem. It was loading sometimes, but not always. I have a plugin that tries to optimise the loading of javascript. Changed the settings and now it seems to load better. Still not seeing ads though (yet).

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not DisplayingThanks Spacetime. The plugin debug didn’t show any errors, but I do have Javascript deferred to the footer, so it might make a difference. Will check the console as well.

Thanks very much for your help.

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not ShowingDefinitely will do. Just want to wait to get the Adsense ads working first.

In reply to: [Ad Inserter - Ad Manager & AdSense Ads] Adsense Auto Ads Not ShowingThanks very much for the quick response Igor.
When I click on “Blocks” on the settings, it shows:
“No active block code”.Assuming from what you say that this is what I should expect, will give Adsense a couple of days to come up with some Auto-Ads and fingers crossed it will work.
Your documentation is excellent by the way, very detailed.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Fails to update to 3.6.0Same problem here too. I had the problem last week, thought I would leave it a while to see if the problem went away, but I still get the same upgrade error as others here.

In reply to: Plugin Update: Download failed. Previous alarm fired off!Very Weird Indeed!
I have eliminated the problem, but still have no idea where this error message was being generated.
I spotted on the failed activation of the Backupwordpress plugin that the latest version requires WordPress 3.9.3 and we are on 3.9.2.
I removed the plugin folder and replaced it by the previous version. The plugin then activated ok, and I was also able to update Akismet to the latest version.
So I guess this is fixed, but it would be interesting to see if anyone else gets this error.

In reply to: High CPU UsageI am seeing the xmlrpc.php file getting hit frequently on one of my sites too. I haven’t counted the frequency but it’s a lot. All adds up…

In reply to: Plugin Update: Download failed. Previous alarm fired off! While I have been waiting (and hoping) for a response I thought I would search both the WordPress files and the database to see if I could identify where this error was being generated.
I can’t find the words “alarm” or “fired” anywhere, which is puzzling.
