You’re welcome. Enjoy the rest of the week!
Hello!
Thanks for getting in touch. We’ve addressed your concerns as follows-
- No. If you don’t have Elementor running, the integration will do nothing.
- It is enabled by default for those running Yoast SEO and Elementor.
- No, it doesn’t communicate any data outside of your site or server.
I hope that clears things out.

Hello!
This issue typically occurs when Yoast SEO needs to recalculate the SEO scores for the relevant pages. Can you please go to the particular pages and update them without changing anything? Does this resolve the issue for you?
Hello!
We’re sorry you’re having trouble using the Yoast SEO plugin. Based on the JS error you got, this could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict but before we ask you to perform a conflict check, can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress (5.5.3), Yoast SEO (5.3), and the latest version of your theme and ALL other?
If everything’s already updated on your end, please perform a conflict check by following the steps here.
The Yoast SEO plugin generates a self-referencing canonical URL. So if you check the source code of your site https://www.zemaitis-uk.com/, you’ll see that the canonical URL is https://www.zemaitis-uk.com/, and this is expected. I think the warning you got from Bing is referring to other posts or pages on your site which have canonical URL that is not self canonical and instead, they’re pointing to https://www.zemaitis-uk.com/. I checked randomly your site and couldn’t find any. So I’m not sure why Bing is throwing that warning.
If the redirect loop only happens when Yoast SEO Premium is active, it means that an incorrect redirect has been entered into our plugin. To fix it, you need to go to SEO > Redirects and search for the post or page slug that should not redirect. You just have to remove that. This article will help you identify the incorrect redirects: https://yoast.com/help/page-redirects-unexpectedly/
Just an FYI, since you’re running Yoast SEO Premium, you’re eligible for premium support. You can contact premium support at support@yoast.com.
Hello!
First of all, the Yoast plugin doesn’t have the capability to remove any of the settings you’ve done. So the answer is no.
Based on your redirects set up, it appears that you’re creating a redirect loop which can cause the URLs to not load. If the URLs are loading fine, then one of the redirects you’ve created may not have been saved.

That’s also possible. You can perform a conflict check to make sure. You can start with deactivating ALL other plugins so only the Yoast plugin is activated. Please also switch your theme to a standard one like Twenty-twenty. If no issue occurs, reactivate your other plugins one by one and check if the issue occurs again for every plugin reactivated. Lastly, switch to your theme.
If you don’t have a test site, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.
Hello Maja,
Have you performed a conflict check as suggested by Suwash? If you haven’t yet, please do so. You can start with deactivating ALL other plugins so only the Yoast plugin is activated. Please also switch your theme to a standard one like Twenty-twenty. Does the issue occur? If not, reactivate your other plugins one at a time and check if the issue occurs again for every plugin reactivated. Lastly, switch to your theme.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, you can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site. You may follow the steps here.
Hello Aaron!
Just to verify, this issue occurs with just Yoast SEO and Simple Membership plugins activated and all other plugins deactivated. Is that correct? To further narrow down the conflict, can you also switch your theme to a standard one like Twenty-Twenty? So only Yoast SEO and Simple Membership plugins, as well as the Twenty-twenty theme, activated. Does the conflict still occur?
Looking forward to your response.
Hello!
We’re sorry you’re having trouble using the Yoast SEO plugin. It looks like something else on your site is conflicting with our plugin. Before we ask you to perform a conflict check, can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress (5.5.3), Yoast SEO (15.3), and the latest version of your theme and ALL other plugins? Also, while you’re on that screen, can you please check if you have Javascript errors on your browser’s console? If you found errors, please send us a screenshot.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi Marilyn!
On the site where you’re not seeing that option, can you please perform the following?
- Disable the “Text link counter” feature under SEO > General > Features tab.
- Clear your cache from your caching plugins, server, CDN like Cloudflare, and your browser. If you are not sure how to clear the cache from your caching plugin, please contact the plugin developer. If you’d like to clear the cache from your server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from your browser, use this guide.
- Enable the “Text link counter” feature again.
Does it resolve the issue?
If not, can you please check if there are Javascript errors on your browser’s console? You may follow the steps here.
Hello!
The Yoast SEO plugin takes the name from the page name. In this case, it could be that the name is missing from your front page. Can you please check the page you’re using as your front page and make sure you’ve added a title to this page? If not, does adding the title resolve the issue?
