Hi there,
Can you please ensure that ALL other plugins and your theme are also updated? If everything’s already updated on your site, please perform a conflict check by deactivating all non-Yoast plugins and switching to a standard theme like Twenty-Twenty. Then check if the issue occurs. If no issue occurs, reactivate your other plugins one at a time and check if the issue occurs again for every plugin reactivated. Lastly, switch back to your theme.
Hi there,
Could you ensure that everything on your site is updated, including WordPress, theme, and ALL plugins? If you’re using Google Chrome, try logging in to your WP Admin in incognito mode. You may also try using another browser and/or machine and see if the issue resolves.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you’re having trouble with the Yoast sitemaps. If setting maximum entries to 100 works, this is often resource-related. Have you tried increasing the PHP memory to see if it resolves the issue? You may get in touch with Flywheel on how to increase it.
Hi there!
We’ve already fixed this in Yoast WooCommerce SEO v15.2. Please refer to the change log here.
Hello!
I checked random pages on your site, and I noticed on the source code that you have duplicate title tags. One of your other plugins or your theme generates an extra title tag. Can you please disable it? If you don’t know what it is, try performing a conflict check. Please refer here.
Hey, Marcello!
Can you please try switching to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty while keeping Yoast SEO and WooCommerce activated? Does the issue occur?
Hey, Martin!
In that case, you could use the removal tool in Google Search Console. Please refer here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en
Additionally, you could use the 410 redirect. The 410 code tells search engines that they should delete the page from their index. That’s the fastest, most reliable way to remove content from search engines permanently.
Hi there!
We checked your product sitemap again and we can confirm that the non-existing links are no longer listed.
Hi there!
Can you please try resetting the Yoast indexables and see if it resolves the issue? Please follow these steps:
- Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
- Go to Tools > Yoast Test
- Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation’, and ‘Reset Internal link counter’ buttons.
After each click, the page will reload to confirm that each reset was successful.
Note: Resetting the optimization doesn’t undo any of the hard work you’ve put into the plugin as the SEO data is also stored in WordPress’ default tables. It’ll just reset the custom Yoast tables that contain the combined data pulled from those default tables. - Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.
Let us know how it goes!
Hi there!
Since you’re using Yoast SEO Premium, please email us at support@yoast.com so we can provide you with the proper support.
Hi there!
Sorry for the delayed response. Glad to know you were able to resolve the issue.
Have a great weekend!
Hi there!
What version of the plugin are you running? Can you please make sure you’re updated? The latest version is 18.0. Please also make sure that your WordPress, theme, and ALL other plugins are up-to-date.
If the issue persists, we need you to perform a conflict check. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.
Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
If you do not feel comfortable to do this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.`
Hi there!
You can choose to disable the schema data generated by the Yoast plugin. You can do so by using the snipper here.
Hello!
This error typically occurs when there is a structured data output for both “Person” and “Organization”.
Can you please configure your settings under SEO → Search Appearance → Knowledge Graph & Schema.org (section) as follows:
- From the dropdown, please select either “Organization” or “Person”
- If you want to keep “Person”, then:
- Select “Organization” first, remove the organization logo and other previously entered details
- Click on ‘Save’
- Once you have created the “Organization” profile, then you can change it to “Person” and add there all relevant details
- Once this is done, you can request indexing again on Google
You can also find more details here: https://yoast.com/help/search-appearance-organization-or-person/
Hello there!
Please don’t be too worried about this notification. You can certainly make changes to an already published post. It’s just a reminder that you need to click on the ‘update’ button to ensure that the changes you’ve made in the Yoast SEO settings are indeed saved.
