Hi, @magamatt.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
When you have the need to add some kind of custom information to a specific form, you need to check the form ID before you add a custom field.
Although we do not have a handy code snippet to do exactly that, I have an example that shows you how to translate a specific string on a form. With some editing, you can add a custom field based on the form ID. here is the example:
If you need assistance implementing custom PHP code on your website we have this guide: https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/adding-custom-functions-to-your-wordpress-website/.
Please note that this code snippet is provided as an example of how you can extend GiveWP with code. It’s up to you to implement and customize to your liking. We cannot provide support for custom code on your website, only the code that we create and distribute.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi, @phex.
Glad you reached out.
Warning messages like this display when your site has “Debug Mode” turned on. Debug mode is a method for developers to use to find issues in their code and compatibility problems with different versions of PHP (the server language WordPress uses). Debug mode is usually only used on development sites or non-live sites.
In the meantime while we get the problem resolved, here’s how you can hide those warnings: in your wp-config.php file (which you can get to via SFTP or through your web host’s file manager) look for a line like this:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
Replace it with the following lines:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
@ini_set(‘display_errors’, 0);Again, this method is normally only used for development, not on live sites.
If you need assistance with that, your web host should be able to help. Also, there is some official documentation on that: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi there.
If the shortcode you are using is exactly the same you shared here, there is a space between then = signal and the false text:
show_form = “false”Instead, it should be:
show_form=“false”Can you test it and let me know if it works? Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
Hi, @kumailabbas.
For Pakistan I don’t think we have a bank transfer option. In this case, you would need to develop it.
If you need help to create this custom integration, I suggest you reach out to our friends at Codeable.io (https://go.givewp.com/codeable). They are WP experts and will be able to help you with that.
Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Scroll up to make paymentHi there.
Glad you reached out. I can help you
The classic form + Stripe Checkout works in a way that it will darken the form and then display the modal where the user can fill in their details. I’ll create an enhancement request for it to make sure we scroll the page up when the modal shows up. Meanwhile, a good workaround is to change the Stripe Checkout option from modal to redirect, and it will redirect your donors to a Stripe-hosted page, and they will fill in their personal details over there.
Personally, I prefer to process donations directly on my website. If I were you, I would disable Stripe checkout and activate Stripe Credit Card instead. But it’s a personal choice only:
About removing the description, we cannot do that by default. However, you can change the wording and instead of text, you can add spaces and it will remove the description content.
Changing text on your website can be a challenge. That’s why we created this tutorial that explains how to do it here https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/translating-give/translating-givewp-with-loco-translate/#modify-the-wording-using-loco-translate.
Lastly, about redirecting, not sure if you want to redirect the donor to the form page or if you want to open it on the same page using a modal. Can you clarify?
Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
Hi, @ericwcarey.
Glad you reached out.
We’ve seen this issue in the past when the theme would change how iframes should be loaded. Putting myself in your shoes, here is what I would do to find out what is wrong:
Step 1: Disable Plugins
- In the dashboard, navigate to the “Plugins” menu on the left sidebar.You will see a list of all your installed plugins. Select the checkboxes next to the plugins you want to disable.
- After deactivating the plugins, visit your website to see if the issue has been resolved. If it’s fixed, the problem was likely caused by one of the plugins.
Step 2: Enable Plugins One by One
- To identify the specific plugin causing the issue, re-enable your plugins one at a time.
- After reactivating each plugin, check your website to see when the issue reappears. This will help you pinpoint the problematic plugin.
- Once you identify the problematic plugin, you can leave it deactivated, update it, or seek support for a fix.
Step 3: Troubleshoot Themes
If the issue persists even after deactivating plugins, you may need to check if your theme is causing the problem.- Go to the “Appearance” menu in your dashboard.
- Click on “Themes” to see the list of installed themes.
Step 4: Activate a Default Theme
- Activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty or Twenty Twenty-One. To do this, click the “Activate” button on the default theme you want to use.
- Check your website to see if the issue is resolved. If it is, your original theme may be causing the problem.

Hi there.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard back, and I know troubleshooting needs a little extra time. I’m marking this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions, you can send them along right here, and I’ll be happy to hop back in.
Have a great day!
Hi, @kumailabbas.
If you use one of our premium add-ons, it’s possible. For example, using GiveWP 3.0 and Stripe Payment Elements, you can use ACH for USA, SEPA for Europe, and so on.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi, @abanavalikar.
As the Payfast add-on is a premium feature, we’re unable to provide support here. However, you can reach out to our dedicated support team via https://givewp.com/priority-support/, and they will be more than happy to assist you.
We’re looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this issue!
Hi there!
Glad you reached out.
Do you mean that “Doddridge Centre Virtual Brick Wall” title? Because if it is, this is the page’s title, and not something related to GiveWP.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi, @kumailabbas.
Glad you reached out.
Right now, we do not have an add-on that integrates GiveWP and MoneyGram or Western Unior. So I’ve created feedback for our team here https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/integrate-givewp-and-moneygram and here https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/integrate-givewp-and-western-unior and added you as a voter to it.
Our feedback site is designed to be the single source for all updates on particular issues. If any movement has happened, it will be displayed there for both the public and our team internally.
If specific feedback only has a handful of votes, that influences the priority we place on it. The more votes, the faster things get worked on!
If you have coding experience, we also have a tutorial here https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/how-to-build-a-gateway-add-on-for-givewp/ that teaches you how to create a custom payment gateway integration for GiveWP.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi, @enuratique.
Glad you reached out.
php_uname() returns a description of the operating system PHP is running on. This is the same string you see at the very top of the phpinfo() output. For the name of just the operating system, consider using the
PHP_OSconstant, but keep in mind this constant will contain the operating system PHP was built on.On some older UNIX platforms, it may not be able to determine the current OS information, in which case it will revert to displaying the OS PHP was built on. This will only happen if your uname() library call either doesn’t exist or doesn’t work.
I saw you confirmed with your host that this function is disabled on your site. Right now, this is a necessary function for GiveWP.
We created a bug report for it here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/prevent-fatal-error-when-phpuname-is-disabled.
We are actively tracking user issues to make sure our dev team is aware of them and can get them fixed. You can use the link to check in for updates or to provide additional details of your own.
Give the post above a look, and let me know if you would like me to add any additional details. I want to ensure your need is as accurately reflected as possible, and I’m happy to include an internal note to our teams with any specific information you would like them to have.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Display donorsHi, @ozil23.
I’m glad you reached out. I can certainly help you.
To display the donors like you are looking for, you can use our donor wall block. The GiveWP Donor Wall Block allows you to display a donor wall with donation information publicly on posts and pages as donors opt-in. All the settings can be configured in the block editor.
You can learn more about it here: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/blocks/donor-wall-block/.
About the custom fields created with the Form Field Manager, you can export that information so you can see all of that in a spreadsheet. Exporting a custom field differs from exporting a general field because a custom field is created and associated with a specific donation form. To export custom fields, navigate to Donations > Tools > Export Donation History > Generate CSV. Click on the desired form under ‘Filter by Donation Form.’ After selecting the form, scroll down to the ‘Form Field Manager Fields’ section, where your custom fields will be displayed. Choose the specific custom fields you want to export from there.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
Hi, @steelthemeshelp.
Glad you reached out.
The deprecation notices you are seeing are related to libraries we use in GiveWp. Our team is already aware of these deprecation notices and we are working to get rid of them.
You can follow up on the progress of the fixes here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/givewp-throws-deprecation-notices-for-php-81.
While we work on a fix, feel free to message us if you have further questions or need any additional assistance!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Payment gatewaysHi, @monicaamb12.
Glad you reached out.
We still lack an integration for Redsys. We decided to focus on GiveWP 3.0 to ensure people had a more flexible donation form experience, so we could not move our workforce toward more payment gateway integrations.
The best way to follow up on the progress of it is by checking our feedback site here: https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/redsys-payment-gateway. Any update we have, we will post there first.
Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.
