Hi Nicole,
If you got locked out of your own site as a result of Shield, you can forcefully turn off all restrictions made by it.
Please follow the guide outlined in this article here:
https://icontrolwp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/3000000959-i-m-locked-out-of-my-own-site-Once you’re back in, it would be good to check your audit trail logs (Shield => Security Dashboard => Audit Trail) to see what’s triggering the block. Then, you can debug the problem.
Hope this helps.
Jelena
Hi Aleks,
We haven’t received any reports of this anywhere else and we can’t replicate it. You could perhaps check your error logs for clues to what might be going wrong.
Hope this helps in some way.
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
We’re sorry but we do not provide that kind of functionality.
Currently, we only give our users the opportunity to choose what logo will be displayed on the Two-Factor Authentication login page.
This functionality is available with our White Label feature:

Hi,
Many thanks for considering our security plugin. We understand your concern…
Best would be to have a backup ready and try Shield to see how it will work for you.
Once you have it installed, you may use walk-though wizards for easier configuration:
https://icontrolwp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/3000073961-what-are-shield-walk-through-wizards-and-how-to-access-them-Inside the plugin, there are help links for the most of the options, so you could learn more about that particular option before enabling.
We also have everything documented. If you need further explanation on any of the plugin options, you may go here:
https://icontrolwp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/3000000023Hope this helps in some way.
Thanks.
JelenaCould you let us know what error message do you get, please?
Thanks
Hi Tim,
We’re sorry, but that’s not possible at this moment.
Hopefully, we’ll be adding further controls for this auto-update in the next major release.
Regards,
JelenaWe tried to replicate the problem with recaptcha (as you described), but we couldn’t find any issue:
https://gyazo.com/656ea1de47f85988fe94ac32f2700b98You may try the following settings:
General section: Invisible recaptcha
Login Guard: Default recaptchaThere’s a way to change settings back to default:

Hi Mark,
No it doesn’t.

Hi,
We’re sorry but Shield doesn’t provide anti-spam protection for Contact Form 7. We haven’t integrated it with that plugin.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
We’ll need more details:
What scanner are you having an issue with, and what exactly is happening? For example, you can’t enable Plugins/Themes scanner – you click “save”, page reloads… does it stay enabled for a while, or reverts to disabled immediately? Also, please read our support policy here.
Thanks.
JelenaHi,
Thanks for your question.
We never comment other plugins.
The only thing we can say is that Shield provides a full protection. But, whether or not to use both plugins or only 1 of them is up to you.
Regards,
JelenaHi,
If I understood well, you’re trying to say that you used Shield (Login Guard-Hide Login Page feature) to rename your login page, but at the same time you had WPS Hide Login enabled?
If that’s the case, and if you want to use WPS Hide Login plugin, then you should disable Shield’s Hide Login Page feature, as there’s no need to use both plugins for this.
To do this, simply go to Shield => Login Guard => and remove the entry in the Hide Login Page field => Save.Or, if you want to use Shield for this, you can disable WPS Hide Login plugin.
Also, please read our support policy here.
Thanks.
