    Hi there!

Did you also try using a different theme? If all other elements were disabled, that might be a good thing to check as well. I recommend using Storefront.

    Hi there!

It sounds like your site may be running out of memory when there are too many variations that it needs to pull up.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

This is best done on a staging site. That’s a copy of your live site, so you can test things out without making changes to your actual site. Some hosting companies offer a staging site service within their hosting plans. If yours does not, there is a great free plugin that will allow you to build a complete staging site with a few button clicks: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging.

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Hi there!

I would recommend setting up a staging site.

On that staging site, you can apply updates and see how your site responds. If there are any issues after doing the updates, you do not have to worry about losing your site’s content. If there are no problems, you can safely update on your live site as well.

Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

    Hi there!

Reading through what you’ve described, I would indeed think that there is a caching problem involved. Can you please copy and paste the system report for this site? You can find it under WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

If you have a caching plugin, I recommend turning it off and seeing if you can replicate the behavior.

    Hi there!

Can you please open a thread for this in the relevant forum? You can find that here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/

Please include your site’s domain name as well.

    Thank you!

It could indeed be an IPN issue – what you are describing is a situation where PayPal is not able to communicate back to your site properly after a successful payment was made.

FYI, I use translatepress on my website. Could this be the problem?

If it alters your website’s URLs, then yes. The best way to test this would be to turn translatepress off, and run a test order to see whether the issue persists.

Can you please also make sure that the debug log has been turned on: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/#section-7 – you will be able to find the log under WP Admin → WooCommerce → Status → Logs. Once that’s populated with a test order, please paste the log in a reply here (feel free to edit out any identifying information, such as billing address).

Hi @jtullosh – if you’re experiencing this issue after updating to the version that contained the fix, please open a new thread so it can be investigated as a stand-alone issue. Thank you!

    Hi there,

This is typically a case of the customer pressing the ‘place order’ button twice. Often, a caching service is involved.

To get a bit more insight into what might be happening, can you please copy and paste the system report for this site? You can find it under WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there!

You either need a bit of custom code (find an example you can build on here), or a plugin such as Conditional Shipping and Payments if you’d rather not fiddle with code.

Alternatively, you can reach out to a developer to have a solution custom coded for you: https://woocommerce.com/customizations

Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

    Hi there,

This is something that is inserted by your theme, most likely in the archive-product.php file. I recommend one of the following:

    1. Reaching out to your theme developer to ask for help
    2. Manually adjusting your archive-product.php page to remove the ‘Archieven:” string
    3. Use a plugin such as Loco Translate to find and replace the string you wish to adjust.

Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day ahead!

    Hi there!

Translation of your message for anyone who pops onto this thread later:

My shopping cart is generating a value without the person buying it and when I click on the cart it is empty but a value of 86.25 appears without anyone having bought it, I tested it in several other places and is having the same problem… how do I solve it ?

    Hi again,

I’m not aware of a plugin that does this via the back-end of your site, so I’ll leave this ticket open for other members of the community to pitch in on a possible solution.
