Actually that’s the proper and only way to configure the EA Facebook Feed.
It’s possible that your access token has expired. Can you please extend your access token by following this doc: https://essential-addons.com/elementor/docs/extend-access-token-facebook/After following all the mentioned processes it should work If you are still facing the issues please share the entire process (screen recording) on how you are configured our widget so that we can check and assist accordingly

Regarding the global color settings, As we have already informed you that no global option or Gutenberg Theme Palette is currently available, however, our Dev team is already started working on the feature and hopefully it will be available very soon. We will inform you when it’s happened.
