At the bookable product template we can set up like it should, because the extra day fees is doing good and calculating and picking a start and end date we use the build-in option. But we cannot adjust the quantity at the product page. How we can add-on an quantity option at the product page.

Are you using the Bookings extension to add the bookable product type? Or is this a different plugin?

I’m thinking you could use the Persons feature that is included in that plugin, to add a quantity selector for the product.

If Bookings is indeed the plugin you are using, and you keep having trouble setting this up, remember that an active license to that extension gives you access to support from WooCommerce’s team of Happiness Engineer. You can open a chat window to get support by logging in to WooCommerce.com and heading to Support.

Otherwise, if the plugin you are using is a different one, I’d recommend reaching out to the team behind that plugin for support.

I’m thinking you can do this using the built-in importer/exporter tool.

Here are the steps I’d suggest:

    1. Create the global attributes on your dashboard.
    2. Export a CSV file of all your products, from Products > All Products > Export.
    3. Open the CSV file, and change the attributes. Use the global attributes you created previously.
    4. Save the file.
    5. Import the file back onto the site. Products > All Products > Import
    6. Make sure to select Update existing products.

    Hopefully this helps!

in my product pages extra tabs are added to the tab titles.

From the screenshots you shared, I’d guess this is something that’s added by your theme. Can you test by temporarily switching the theme of your site to Storefront? Are the tabs still displayed like that with the new theme?

I want to load ftp download host when I upload product file to Woocommrce Download

It sounds like you are trying to upload a file to your site via FTP, and then add that file to a downloadable product in WooCommerce. Did I understand that correctly?

If so, you can achieve that with WooCommerce indeed. After you upload the file to the site via FTP, you’ll want to copy the directory of the file, and add that URL to the File URL field of the product configuration:

If this is not what you meant and I misunderstood your question, please feel free to share more details about what you are intending to achieve.

With the latest update variations colour and size were added to the listing page and also the ability to add a product directly to the cart.

I’m unsure of what you mean by this. Can you link us to a page where we can see this behavior?

We are thinking about making some promotions, like discounts when someone buys 2 products at once… or 5 products…

I’d recommend the Dynamic Pricing extension for something like this.

The plugin allows you to set different pricing rules based on the quantity ordered. So, you can give certain discount to customers who order two items, and a higher discount to someone ordering 5.

WooCommerce.com is running a sale over the weekend. It will be active until Monday, so this is a great chance to get the plugin at a 40% discount. Additionally, there’s a 30-day refund policy. So, you can test it out and if it ends up not working for you, you can request a refund within that timeframe.

I’ve set up a local shipping zone defined by a collection of zip codes, under which I have two shipping classes for the different item types both set at 0. I have a second national shipping zone under which I have a shipping class for large items set at N/A and a shipping class for normal items with a flat rate of 0.

I’m a bit confused by your description of the shipping setup. However, it sounds like you are trying to limit certain products to only be shipped to certain zones.

For something like this, I’d recommend using the Advanced Shipping Packages extension. This will allow you to configure different packages to ship your products. You can determine which products go into which package, and then you are also able to enable/disable shipping methods for specific packages.

For example: you can have Product A and Product B delivered in Package 1. And then configure Product C to be delivered in Package 2. With the packages configured, you can set it so that Package 1 can be delivered to Zone X and Y; while Package 2 is only delivered to Zone Y.

WooCommerce.com is running a sale over the weekend. It will be active until Monday, so this is a great chance to get the plugin at a discounted price. Additionally, there’s a 30-day refund policy. So, you can test it out and if it ends up not working for you, you can request a refund within that timeframe.

We ship items from abroad and the tax calculations are slightly different, it’s not only VAT but also duty.

Can you share more details about how taxes are calculated on the site? A link to the website and the pages where we can see the lines you are trying to hide would also be helpful.

If the taxes are already built into the price that you enter in WooCommerce, you can disable tax calculation entirely from the settings. This can be done from WooCommerce > Settings > General > Enable tax.

if you order one “jamón serrano 7.5-8kg” and “entero” that costs 61€, the reduced tax that is 10%, takes the value of 5,55€ instead of 6,1€…

I think there is confusion here about how are taxes calculated, and what settings to configure.

I’m assuming that you have selected to enter prices inclusive of tax, and configured a tax rate of 10%. For those settings, if you entered the price inclusive of tax as 61.00, 5.55 would indeed correspond to a 10% tax of the price exclusive of tax.

    55.55 * .10 = 5.55
    55.55 + 5.55 = 61.00

In the above example, 55.55 is the price exclusive of tax, and the 10% of that is 5.55. When added together, the total is 61.00

If you want tax to be 6.10 on top of the price of 61.00, then in the tax settings you’ll have to select the option to enter prices exclusive of tax. With that setting you would charge customers 61.00 for the product, plus 6.10 tax, for a total of 67.10.

I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions!

I migrated these products in from another site.

How were these products exported/imported from one site to another? Did you use the built-in CSV importer tool, or different software?

The fact that updating the product seems to fix it makes me think some of the data did not save correctly after the import.

You can try regenerating the product look up tables, and see if this helps. Head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Product lookup tables > Regenerate.

Note that depending on the number of products that you have, it might take a while for the regeneration to complete.

    Hi Daniel,

I’m not sure why are you seeing the behavior described above. I know you are asking for advice on how to get that customisation right, but I thought I’d drop this here in case you want to consider using a plugin to make that change instead:

You can use an extension like Checkout Field Editor to create new checkout fields on your site, as well as edit existing ones.

I’ll leave these thread open for now, in case any other users have additional suggestions on how to fix the custom code you implemented.

The problem is that I want to have the ability for a customer to add Items from different categories into the cart, paying the base rate for the most expensive class –but still charging per additional item in the cart, even if for an item cheaper than the most expensive class.

For something like this, I’d recommend using the Table Rate Shipping extension. You can define the calculation type to be Per order.

When that is selected, you’ll be able to assign class priorities. When multiple classes are added to the same card, the costs that will be taken into account will be those of the lower priority number.

You can read more about how that works in the documentation for that plugin, here:

It would be helpful to have more details about how is shipping configured on the site. Where are the rates being pulled from?

Specifically, I’m wondering whether these are configured as flat rate methods, or if a special plugin is being used to configure shipping.

If you don’t plan to use the shop page, you can “retire” it by removing any mention or link to this page on your website. That would be a workaround that can potentially sort things out here.

As for why the is breaking, I’m not sure. The shop page and home page can be independent of each other, so changing one shouldn’t affect the other. Can you share with us a copy of your system status report? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status > Get report > Copy for support.
