    Hi, @giuseppe12!

Thank you for that additional information. I checked your site out, and the PayPal Checkout buttons are showing up fine for me:

Can you let us know which browser and mobile operating system you’re using to view your site? For reference, I viewed your site using Chrome on an Android device.

Hi, @urby1101! No worries at all, and I appreciate you taking the time to let us know that your issue’s been resolved.

The problem you experienced may just well have been due to needing updates. Often, issues can be resolved simply by updating. So, I’m glad things are working well for you now!

    Hi, @sushi_overdose!

Since Woocommerce 5.0 says that there might be issues with this plugin, I’m wondering when are you going to update it ?

The latest version of WooCommerce, version 5.2.2, has just been released, so if you’ve been experiencing any issues with older versions of WooCommerce, you may want to look into updating to that. We also encourage you to create your own thread if you’re experiencing issues with the PayPal Checkout plugin too since something else may be causing the issue on your site. We would gladly assist you from there!

    Hi, @msg-meteorites!

I just took a look at your site, and as @webmaster1234 mentioned, the Square fields look to be working fine now:

Can you let us know if you’re still seeing any issues? And are you still on older versions of the Square plugin?

In any case, for reference, from our experience, there are two common causes for the Square form being uneditable:

If you continue running into issues, it’s a good idea to check on those two things first.

    Hi, @alex-cpc!

Unfortunately, I’m not seeing any settings on the PayPal Checkout payment gateway to make it look like the old design.

However, for making the logo smaller, can you try this code instead?

    .payment_methods .payment_method_paypal img {
    width: auto; !important
    }

For reference, you can add it to WP Admin > Appearance > Customize under Additional CSS.

    Hi, @janafor!

I don’t really know why it’s marked as resolved as the problem is still there. Seems like they just don’t care the plugin is broken.

Sorry about that! Topics are marked as resolved if we haven’t heard back from the thread-starter in at least a week. I have since changed the status again to “not resolved.”

As for the issue you’re experiencing with excluding categories, it is still open, but if you’ll check the report for it on GitHub, we are expecting a fix for it in the next release, 2.4.0.

We do appreciate your continued patience with this!

    Hi, @bredamcguigan!

In addition to what @maryb77’s mentioned, there are a few other things we can immediately check here:

    1. Are your products set to “Sync and Show”?

      Link to image: https://d.pr/i/3ADW4P
    2. Are your products perhaps virtual products? If they are, these are not allowed according to Facebook’s e-commerce policy, and so won’t be synced to Facebook.
    3. Was your Facebook shop previously set up outside of the Facebook for WooCommerce extension? If yes, then you’ll want to check that your Facebook page is connecting to the correct catalog according to this guide.

If you’ve checked all of these, our next suggestion is to turn on debug logging for Facebook by going to Marketing > Facebook and checking “Enable Debug Mode.” Please then try another manual sync there and share with us the most recent Facebook debug log you see under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. You can paste it in your reply to us here.

Please give my suggestions a go and let us know if they help!

    Hi, @patowins!

The plugin disables the option to create and edit products in woocommerce.
    Show blank pages.

This is quite a strange issue!

First thing we can check is if you’re running updated versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and the Facebook extension. You can check those in your site’s System Status Report under WooCommerce > Status. For reference, the latest version of WordPress is 5.7.1, WooCommerce is 5.2.1, and Facebook for WooCommerce is 2.3.5.

And as the issue you’re experiencing is quite uncommon, it’s likely that you’re running into a conflict. Have you been able to absolutely narrow it down to our Facebook for WooCommerce extension? To help confirm, you can run a conflict test.

You can use a plugin like Health Check for that. It has a troubleshooting mode where only you as the admin will see any changes made to the site. The general steps for the conflict test would be:

    1. Enable troubleshooting mode on the [Health Check plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) which will deactivate all plugins and switch the site’s theme to a default one like Storefront
    2. Activate WooCommerce and the Facebook for WooCommerce extension.
    3. Check if you’re able to create/edit products.

If the problem is gone, then activate plugins one at a time. In between each activation, repeat step 3. If you’re interested, we have a more in-depth guide on using that plugin here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/troubleshooting-using-health-check/

I hope this helps point you in the right direction!

    Hi, @tusharcharnalia1!

The notice you’re receiving is most often indicative of a permissions problem. There are a couple of things you can immediately check here:

    1. Head to Facebook Business Settings > Pages, select the Page in question, go to the People tab, and make sure your name is listed there with the Manage Page toggle enabled.

      Link to image: https://d.pr/i/Y3RFrs
    2. Check if the steps in this article also help: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/183277585892925?id=420299598837059

If these don’t work, then you may want to consider moving all assets under the same Business Manager. However, there’s no set way to do that, so it may be best for you to reach out to Facebook Merchant Support for more information.

    Hi @kenteush29,

Thank you for your feedback here! Looking at your forum history, I’m not seeing any threads in the Facebook for WooCommerce forums about any issues you may have had with exporting catalogs using the extension.

If you’d like additional assistance with that, please feel free to open a new topic and we’d be happy to help you look into any issues you’re experiencing!

    Hi, @davidmtwp!

Thank you for that additional information!

From the screenshot of your tax settings, there are two factors here contributing to your product prices in Facebook showing as exclusive of taxes (HT). Specifically:

    1. Prices are entered exclusive of tax, and
    2. Tax is calculated based on the customer’s address

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/Ho2vYX

This is explained in the link Adam provided earlier but, basically, what’s happening is that, since the Facebook extension doesn’t have a customer address to base tax calculations on, it syncs prices without taxes.

As a workaround, you can try:

    • Entering prices inclusive of tax
    • Calculating tax based on your shop’s address

I hope this helps clarify things!

    Hi, @devmad!

When I add 2 Products to the Cart and den remove one to force a AJAX request, the Buttons appears. It’s a strange behaviour.

    I agree, that is strange!

Can you share a link to your site with us so we can check on the disappearing checkout button too?

In the meantime, you might want to check if your site’s theme or another plugin is interfering with the PayPal Express Checkout button by performing a conflict test. The general steps for the conflict test would be:

    1. Switch to a default theme like Storefront.
    2. Deactivate all plugins on the site except WooCommerce and PayPal Express Checkout.
    3. Check if the button no longer disappears.

If the problem is gone, then activate plugins one at a time. In between each activation, repeat step 3.

Before performing the test, we do recommend that you make a full backup of your site. To be on the safe side, you might also want to do this first on a staging site, which is essentially a clone of your site. You’ll also want to make sure the same issue is happening on the staging site for testing on it to be effective. If your hosting company provides staging as a feature, that is a great place to start. If not, you can use the WP Staging plugin to create the staging site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

Please give my suggestion a go, and let us know what you find!

    Hi, @therighttype!

@serafinnyc may be on the right track here. Can you try the following steps?

    1. Deactivate the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and delete it.
    2. Go to https://www.ilovemstudio.com/wp-admin/options.php and clear all 5 values that are related to Facebook settings, and save the settings. For reference, those values are:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/bWPSnQ
    3. Re-install the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, and go through the setup process again

Please give my suggestion a go, and let us know if you continue having issues establishing the connection!

    Hi, @txtcoke!

Do you perhaps have the pixel tracking code added to your site more than once? One thing you can check is your site’s header.php in case the code was added there manually. You can also check if you have another plugin that may be adding the code.

If you’re certain you only have the code added once, that is, through our Facebook for WooCommerce extension, you can mark the issue as resolved in the Events Manager. And as it says in the message you copied, Facebook will check for the issue again after 3 days.
