Plugin updated, should be appearing within WordPress as an update in an hour or so.

Hi Peggy
Found it! It’s a CSS conflict with this plugin: Authority Pro Squeeze Generator
The advanced section in WP Portfolio has a class of .hide, which is defined as completely hidden in the CSS for the above plugin. In WP Portfolio, it’s only hiding the content below the advanced section. Frankly, it’s a silly issue with naming conventions, but I’ll update WP Portfolio accordingly, as conflicts with other plugins are possible. It’s just a freaky 1 in 1000 issue.
There’ll be a release later in a little while that fixes the issue you’re having.
Kind Regards
DanPeggy
I had to ask π Will take a look for you.
Dan
Hmm, thanks Peggy.
It should be on this page:
http://www.successwithease.com/images/2012-01-06_Add-Site.pngCould you try using Chrome or Firefox, assuming you’re using IE? If that doesn’t work, could you send me an email with admin login details (via http://www.wpdoctors.co.uk), and I’ll take a look…
Kind Regards
DanHi Peggy
You need to click on the ‘Show Advanced Settings’ on the page where you add a new website. Then you need to put the URL of your image into the ‘Custom Thumbnail URL’ field.
It’s there, honest! π

Hello,
Deactivate, and then reactivate the plugin, and try again. That should work.

From what you’ve said, I’m not sure I follow if the error is only occurring on the production website or the test website too.
Before doing anything, deactivate and then activate the plugin. The cache folder can be chosen, and it’s in the plugin settings.
If you’re getting ‘Account Problem’, then that suggests an issue with your account on STW. Please follow all of the steps/checks in the FAQ: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-portfolio/faq/ – that helps 99% of people.

Thanks for your message. Have you checked the FAQ?
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-portfolio/faq/Especially check the lock to account feature, just in case.
Failing that, enable the debug mode setting, and check the error logs. They should help.

Dan [ Signature moderated. ]Choose ‘Paid (Basic or Plus) Account’, and set STW Access Key ID to ‘abcdefg1234567’ and STW Secret Key to ‘abc12’. These are not valid keys, these are dummy codes just to get the settings to save.
Now you should be able to save the settings. When you now save the settings, you should now be able to select the custom thumbnail size.
Regards
DanYes, you can use it without STW. Just enter a dummy code into the settings… then you can enable the paid mode, which allows custom thumbnail sizes.
There are no plans to completely disable the STW mode, but I’ll consider it. However, you can still get custom thumbnail sizes without STW following my tip above.
Thanks
DanAh, you need to change to ‘STW Account Type’ to a ‘Paid’ account type in the settings. That custom size option when you have a STW account only works with a paid STW account. So the option should appear when you save that setting.
If you need to enter a dummy STW account code to get the settings to save, use alphanumeric letters (e.g. a-z 0-9).
Kind Regards
DanAh, are you running the latest version?
Kind Regards
DanIn your WordPress admin area:
WP Portfolio -> Portfolio Settings -> under the ‘Thumbnail Settings‘ heading.Dan
Remove the height and width from the CSS, so that it’s not a restriction. If you change:
‘What thumbnail sizes do you want to use?’ to ‘My custom sizes’, then you can change them, yes.
