It looks like the script is being killed for running too long. Please try going to BackWPup > Settings > Jobs and setting “Maximum script execution time” to 25 seconds or so.
Hi @tomsommer, that’s not currently something configurable in BackWPup, but certainly if many people are experiencing this issue, we’d look into including that option in a future version. So far this is the first I’ve heard of the issue so it’s hard to tell how common it is.
Hi @rixtertrader, BackWPup runs fine on PHP 7. There are some minor issues with some of the libraries used that will be fixed in a future version. However I’m running BackWPup on a personal site on PHP 7.0 without issue.
Hi @birdog123, I know this response is very late, but thought I’d answer your question.
You can do a search and replace on the entire multisite network by running search and replace within the main site.

It looks like you are selecting the option to download an SQL export, rather than to save the changes to the database.
When you do your search/replace, of course uncheck the dry run checkbox, but then check the button that says

search-and-replace/inc/Page/SqlImport.phpYou’ll see at the beginning of the line the $ is doubled. Delete one of those so it looks like this:
$this->add_error( __( 'Upload Error: ' . $php_upload_errors[ $php_upload_error_code ], 'search-and-replace' ) );Let me know if that works. It’ll be fixed in the next release assuming it does.
@mathiasarlund, please try what Christina suggested. Place the files back in FTP, and uninstall the plugin through WordPress. Then let us know if that worked.

Can you perhaps exclude some of your larger files from the backup, or perhaps keep them in a separate backup? It’s server-dependent, so nothing the plugin can do there.
