In reply to: [Prevent Direct Access - Protect WordPress Files] It WorksThanks for getting back to us, @valithea.
It looks like you’re using a Nginx server or Apache with Nginx as a reverse proxy, which is not supported by our Free version.
Can you please drop us an email to hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com with a sample protected link so that we can double-check and advise you accordingly?

In reply to: [Prevent Direct Access - Protect WordPress Files] It WorksHi @valithea,
Thanks for the comment.
I think you misunderstand our concepts. Our “private download links” are supposed to be accessible to anyone (both logged-in and non-logged-in users), while the “protected links” are accessible only to those whom you grant permission to.
I believe you should use our “protected links” instead of the “download links”.
Can you please refer to this tutorial on the difference and when to use the protected vs private download links?
Please let us know if it makes sense to you, @valithea.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] 3 forms showing on the pageThe issue is resolved with @griff78 via email.
Just to update, there are 2 duplicate password forms because the theme adds & customizes its own.
You can hide either form using CSS or remove our password form through the provided hook.
Hope it helps those with the same issue.

Hello @markhowellsmead,
Thanks for checking in and letting us know.
Yes, we’re aware of the notice on WordPress 5.3. In fact, the warning is fixed on our latest version 2.5.1.1.
Just to clarify, there was only one (not a few) warning notice as far as we know.
Please let us know if there is anything else that we can help.

Hi @mlimon,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Yes, you can prevent direct access to your files on our Lite version. It just doesn’t support Nginx and Windows server.
May we know which hosting server you’re using and/or what you want to achieve more specifically so that we can assist you better?
We look forward to your reply, Limon.

In reply to: [Prevent Direct Access - Protect WordPress Files] Clear MisrepresentationHi @nvend111,
Thanks for the feedback.
Please allow me to quickly explain.
Let’s say you purchased our product at $100. Even if our price increases to $200, you’ll only need to pay $100 annually. So our increase in prices if any won’t affect our existing customers at all.Anyway, as per the WordPress Forum Guidelines, commercial products including their pricing should not be discussed or supported in these forums.
Please kindly remove this discussion and drop us a support email to hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com instead.
We will be more than happy to explain in more details about all the issues and questions you might have about our plugins and pricing.
Look forward to your follow-up, @nvend111.
Hi @altimac,
Thanks for reaching out to us with the protected link. It really helps.
It looks like you’re using a Nginx web server, aren’t you?
If so, you’ll need to either implement our rewrite rules on Nginx server or enable our Raw URLs settings option.
Both are available on our Gold version.
Hope it helps and makes sense to you, @altimac
Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions 🙂

May we know:

Look forward to your reply.
