Hi @stenox,
Thank you for reaching back,
Based on what you’ve described above, one suggestion would be to reduce the number of galleries by organizing them to the album instead. Instead of creating a separate gallery, you can group the related galleries into the album.
This will reduce the load on the admin end, especially when opening the Add Gallery iframe screen. Once you have organized the gallery into album, you’ll insert Album, that will be in less number as compared to the gallery, and it will prevent the browser from hanging.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!
Hi @paul-whitehead,
Thank you for reaching out,
As of now, NextGEN Gallery doesn’t have the built-in-feature to link the image to custom URLs without opening them in the lightbox.
The feature is already on our roadmap and the team is working on it.
I apologize that we can’t provide what you’re looking for right now, but I appreciate the suggestion and any other details you may be able to provide! It’s always helpful to get insights from our users.
Thanks!
Hi @stenox,
Thank you for reaching out,
From what you’ve described above, it looks like a performance related issue due to the larger number of galleries (4600). So when you click the Add Gallery button or open the Manage Album pages on the site admin, WordPress is trying to load much information at once. This causes the browser to freeze or slow down the site.
One possible solution might be trying to use the Gutenberg editor that has NextGEN block and doesn’t rely on the same iframe and loads faster. As a testing purpose, you can create a new page on Gutenberg editor and try adding the gallery through NextGEN Block that should load faster.
Let us know the update after doing so and I will get back to you.
Thanks

Hi @deesignz,
Thank you for sharing the site URL with issue,
It looks like a conflict with the lazy loading. It seems that lazy load is already included on the page by another plugin or the theme. To avoid this conflict, you’ll need to disable the Lazy Load option in the gallery settings. Once disabled, the gallery should work as expected.
In case this helps, please refer to the screenshot here.
Let me know the updates after making the changes and I will get back to you.
Thanks.

Hi @dudok100,
Thanks for your review, and I’m really sorry to hear about your experience.
It’s disappointing to know that things didn’t go well after upgrading to the premium version. We also apologize if you didn’t receive a reply from our end about the cancellation. We always aim to respond to every message, so something may have gone wrong there.
Normally, the plans renew automatically unless the subscription is cancelled. Also, renewal reminder is sent before the charge. But we completely understand how frustrating it is to charged unexpectedly.
To discuss more on this matter and have a detail look on your case, please submit the support ticket through the Envira Gallery site when you have a chance.
We’ll be happy to assist you there.
Thanks!
Hi @cathousetantan,
Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear about the issue you experienced.
When a gallery is placed inside an accordion, sometimes it may not display properly due to how the accordion hides content. This is a common issue with many plugins because the gallery scripts may not load correctly until the section is visible.
We weren’t able to reproduce the issue on our end, which is why the support team asked for further details. This helps us see exactly how things are set up on your site so we can find the issue and fix it faster.
To help you further with the issue, please submit the support ticket through the Envira Gallery site when you have a chance? We’re here and ready to assist in any way that makes you comfortable.
Thanks!.
