Hello again,
It doesn’t look right indeed and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, we have tried to replicate this on our environment several times but were unable to.
We would appreciate it if you could send the link to your website along with credentials to an admin account so that we can investigate the matter. Please send this info to support@wpstream.net
I have already notified my colleagues to look out for your email and they will be handling it with high priority. Please add ‘Missing Stream Key’ to the subject.
Best regards

Hello there,
So sorry to hear that you are having issues going live with WpStream and StreamYard. Please make sure that you first have the latest version of the plugin installed. I am not too sure why the stream key is not appearing as we have not had such an issue before.
Would you be able to send us a screenshot of what you see when you choose StreamYard as the Streaming App? It should look something like this https://Prnt.Sc/NkNCzgoTzkgc
Looking forward to helping you solve this issue.

BeatriceHello there,
So sorry to hear that your users are having trouble viewing. Upon checking the link, I can confirm that we can see your live stream player with the message mentioned above. This happens when you are not actually Live.
Your viewers will only be able to see the live stream if you are live. You can get in contact with support@wpstream.net to help you troubleshoot if you are actually LIVE when viewers see the message that you are ‘not streaming at the moment’ Please provide as much detail as possible so that we can replicate the environment.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Are you referring to your users not actually being able to see the live stream when you are live? As in, the actual video content? Looking forward to helping you sort this out ASAP.

BeatriceHello there,
Apologies for misunderstanding. Yes, all these would work as sequential steps. Users can also use something like Zoom to broadcast as well. Check out this video tutorial https://youtu.be/6nxOWcQrl6c
Let me know if you have other questions!

BeatriceHello there,
Thanks for your message.
1. You can indeed embed multiple channels on the same page using shortcodes. Please check out this link for more information.
2. Not too sure I understand this part and would be highly appreciative if you could provide more information or an example of this scenario.
3. Yes, multiple streamers can live stream at the same time. The number of active live channels depends on the plan you choose as you can see here as ‘Concurrent Live Channels’
See this link to find out how regular users can go live on your site.Viewers can hear all the streamers at once but cannot control the volume of each.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

In reply to: wordpress 5.9 generates big ttfb and slows the websiteYes we are working with the theme developers to address this issue. However i still don’t understand what can trigger such bug difference in loading times ? Obsolete php/ wordpress instructions ? new wp functions ?.
Hello there,
So sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Does your website become really slow only when you add the live stream to your front page or if you add it to any page on your website? Looking forward to hearing from you.

BeatriceHey there,
You are most welcome! Please do let us know if you come across any issues.

BeatriceHello there,
In order to stream via the back-end these users will have to be set as admins through WordPress and not through WpStream. In the video tutorials, this feature is only for non-admins that wish to broadcast on your website.
As an admin streaming from the back-end, your users can broadcast normally and you can check out this tutorial to see how https://youtu.be/L0RN5Y2lZHk

BeatriceHello there,
So sorry to hear that you are having trouble broadcasting.
1) Please make sure that you are connected (signed in) to WpStream on your website
2) Make sure you follow the instructions in one of the videos below depending on which page builder you use
– WpBakery https://youtu.be/3XH7AgXxsdY
– Elementor https://youtu.be/9TGRT7_nXpoThe videos both run you through how to set up the plugin to allow regular users to broadcast as well as how to assign each user permission to broadcast
I hope this helps and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Best regards,

You should be adding a featured image of 1200 x 628 pixels ideally as per WordPress standards. You can find more information regarding the best image size by checking out this link https://blog.hubspot.com/website/wordpress-featured-image-size
Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!
