BeatriceHi there,
Thanks for your message!
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ve fully grasped the idea of what you are trying to achieve. I understand what you want to do – but not the final concept.
If you could please explain how this logic would work with an example of a page or website that does this, that would be precious information.
Looking forward to your response!

BeatriceHello there,
Thanks for getting in contact with us and we’re glad that you were able to integrate WpStream onto your website. Unfortunately, it appears that your site is under construction and the page is not visible at this time.
However, to answer your question regarding notifications – we don’t currently have an automated way to let viewers know that you are live. You can do this by sharing the page on your Social media pages or through email. However, what we do have instead that we hope would make a close alternative is setting up a list on your website with all the current ‘Active’ Live streams. This way, whenever a viewer comes onto your website, they can see if you are live. You can also add a text under the thumbnail to show viewers that you are LIVE.
Here is the link to a tutorial to set this up https://youtu.be/2hKJ3jXIR3QHope this helps and please let us know if you have further questions or concerns 🙂

In reply to: [WpStream - Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Pay Per View] ChangelogHi Jos, sorry did not mean to rush the resolve.
We’ll be discussing the options to add the changelog either in full or as a link, thanks a lot for the suggestion.
Will update the thread as soon as we decide on either.Best regards, C.

BTHi there,
Unfortunately, we do not have that type of feature directly with WpStream. If you use other 3rd Party platforms like Zoom, StreamYard, Restream, Melon, etc, you can get something similar. However, I can see that it is not exactly what you are looking for.
What we recommend as that you set regular live streams with StreamYard/Zoom/etc with a chat, and you (or your streamers) can leave the link to join in the chat. Anyone can access this link and join.
Let me know if you have further questions!

BeatriceHi again,
You can follow the instructions in this article to set up Zoom with WpStream https://wpstream.net/live-streaming-with-zoom/
Best,
BeatriceHello again,
Happy to answer your questions.
1) Yes, you can have multiple concurrent live channels depending on the plan you choose
2) It depends on how you set it up. You can set up free to view channels that anyone can watch, pay per view/subscription live streams, or password protected live streams
3) The live streams can be recorded and you will find the video file under ‘Recordings’. You can then create a Video On Demand from this
4) We do not a have a live chat, however, we do have ticket support and respond within 24 hours
5) Viewers can interact through a chat – we have a beta chat that you can get by following these instructions https://wpstream.net/forums/topic/chat-public-beta/
6) You can set this up if you use something like StreamYard or Zoom with WpStream.Hope this helps and please let me know if you have further questions.

BeatriceHi Waqar,
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Happy to help out!
Your website looks great and in order to fully understand what you are looking for, we would appreciate it if you could provide more context on how you set up the “Upload Video” and “Embed”.
For instance, the way WpStream makes it possible for you to allow regular users to broadcast on your website is through a shortcode on a page/post. If “Upload Video” and “Embed” are menu items, you can definitely set the ‘Go Live’ aspect by adding a link to the page with the shortcode. You can find the instructions on how to set up the feature here https://wpstream.net/how-to-enable-regular-users-to-broadcast-via-the-front-end/
You can test this out on your free trial and it is also available with all of our subscription plans.
Hope this helps and please let us know if this helps!
Best wishes,

BeatriceHello again,
We were able to replicate this in some regards and it appears that there may be an interference from the ‘Auto TURN ON’ channel setting if it has been enabled/disabled twice in a short span of time. We are currently implementing a fix for the next update.
In the mean time, we are still looking forward to your admin URL and credentials to check if it is the same factor on your environment as well or if there are other underlying ones.
Our recommendation is to attempt to only enable or disable this setting once in the same session.
Looking forward to your response.
