Hello @sandmanyz,
Could you reach out to our support email at support@wpdrawattention.com? We’d like to take a better look.
Thanks,
Natalie GHello @janv01
This is the expected behavior when a link to a hotspot is clicked, the page will move the Draw Attention image to the top of the page to ensure it’s in view of the user.
I just tested your page in Chrome and was able to get the expected results. Yes, the page moved up a little bit, but that’s because it’s how it was intended to work.
If you think we’re missing something, please feel free to send us an email at support@wpdrawattention.com
Thanks!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Can Tooltip Show a Video ?Hi @firerm,
Yes, you should be able to embed a video with the tooltip mode. If you’re using YouTube, then you can just paste in the URL to the YouTube video in the more info area – just like you would in the body of a post or page. You don’t need to use the embed code provided by YouTube.
Another method you can use to add videos is to try using the [embed] shortcode.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
Hello @lestexas60,
Yes, our plugin is still active, our last version release was done 4 weeks ago for the free edition 🙂
Could you try using this CSS snippet to remove the grey background:
body .hotspots-image-container {
background: transparent;
}If you need help adding this to your page, here’s a guide to help you customize Draw Attention CSS: https://wpdrawattention.com/document/customizing-draw-attention-css/
Let us know if that worked,

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Show Text Below MapHi @markmadedesign,
Thanks for reaching out to us. The free version of Draw Attention only supports the left layout, where the hotspot content is displayed to the left of the image map.
In our pro version, we do support more layouts, and one of them is the bottom layout, where the hotspot content is displayed below the interactive map.
You can see a demo of the bottom pro layout here: https://wpdrawattention.com/demos/houses/
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi @robnicholson,
Thanks for letting us know! Glad to hear you’re seeing it’s up to date now. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
The final answer to this question was:
”
Our free version only comes with the Left area layout, which means that the box will always be visible on the left. If you need the image to take up the entire space you’ll need to:- Use either our Tooltip or Lightbox layouts, see examples of those here: https://wpdrawattention.com/demos/
- Use a bigger image, the one you have on the page is at most width: 1140px; height: 783px; So, even if the alternative layouts were enabled it still wouldn’t reach the entire screen sometimes.
Draw Attention images will adjust to the container you give to them, but we cannot stretch images beyond their original size.
We’re not sure what could be going on here, but we’d be happy to troubleshoot through email.
Could you reach out to our email instead at support@wpdrawattention.com
Could you also include the link to the page you’re working on? It seems like the one you’ve attached doesn’t show us anything.
Thanks!
