In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Custom AttributesHello @eytchh
I’m afraid Draw Attention isn’t outputting a tags to the page, adding custom attributes would not be able to help here 🙁
Something like this could be done using jQuery but you’d need a JS developer to do this correctly. If you use raw JS, it overwrites the onclick events that are already there and would break DA.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] PopupHello @apocal1pse,
We don’t have a way to trigger a popup using a shortcode from another plugin like Elementor or Popup Maker.
If you’d like to use popups to display the hotspot content, our lightbox and tooltip layouts are only available in the Pro versions.
Please contact us directly at support@wpdrawattention.com for more questions on the Pro version.
Hello @klimam
Could you double-check to make sure all of the hotspots are set to “Go to URL”? If any of them are set to “Show More Info” it will make the Left container appear.
If that doesn’t help, please send us a message to support@wpdrawattention.com.
Hello @tiboine
That’s strange, the Draw Attention image doesn’t load at all on my browser, not even if I refresh the page.
It looks like you’re running an older version of the plugin. Could you update to the latest version and see if that helps?
If not, please send us a message at support@wpdrawattention.com to continue troubleshooting.

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Unable to add any images? The closest workaround would require that you leave the title fields blank but this could cause some confusion later down the line when you have more hotspots and images.
The best option would be to hide them using CSS.

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Trouble showing pictureThis turned out to be a conflict with the Page Optimize plugin. If you’re experiencing a similar issue, try deactivating this plugin and see if that helps.

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Unable to add any images?Hello @wpress2010
That’s strange, you should be able to add images from your media library too. Here’s our official video walk-through of the plugin, does yours look like this? https://wpdrawattention.com/document/create-your-first-draw-attention-image/
Could you try the fix on this guide and see if that helps? https://wpdrawattention.com/document/disabling-3rd-party-scripts/

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Trouble showing pictureHello @ecpioxfamibis
Could you try the following troubleshooting steps? We recommend that you do these on a staging site if possible or make sure to create a backup on your live site before trying these steps.
1) See if it’s a plugin conflict, you can use the free Plugin Detective plugin to help you narrow down the suspects – https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-detective/
2) See if it’s a theme conflict by switching to a default WordPress theme.Plugin Detective has a process to help you quickly identify which plugin might be causing the problem. Once you start Plugin Detective, just mark Draw Attention and Plugin Detective as a “required plugin” for the test and navigate to the page where you’re having issues. Plugin Detective will deactivate all the other plugins on your site and you can confirm that Draw Attention is working properly.
If nothing comes up here, please send us an email at support@wpdrawattention.com
Hello @jordan0jordanov
Yes it should be possible to highlight multiple objects on an image. We have a guide to show you how to set this up – https://wpdrawattention.com/document/connect-two-hotspots/
Hello @nicolasremy
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the plugin so far 🙂
As for your suggestion, this should actually be possible using CSS and we’d be happy to write it out for you. Just send us a link to the page you’re working on through our inbox at support@wpdrawattention.com.
Let us know!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] DatabaseHello @adam1231,
Yes, the “more info” content is stored in the post_meta table. But it’s not very easy to manipulate or change as the individual hotspots don’t have IDs, so they have to be identified by their titles.
We’re planning to change that in the plugin to make the “more info” content easier to access and allow for easier integrations.
Let us know if you have more questions!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Multiply levelsHello @luxworx,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m afraid that at this time, we don’t have a way to zoom in or change the main image when a hotspot is clicked. We hope to add a zooming and panning feature to the plugin in the future though!
But, as a workaround, you could create a main Draw Attention image that displays all of the buildings. Hotspots can be created for each building, and then you can create separate pages and Draw Attention images for each building and link to them from the hotspot.
Within the building’s Draw Attention image, hotspots can be created for each floor and link to the floor’s specific Draw Attention image. The lightbox layout could also be used for each apartment on that floor to show more details and information about that unit.

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Cannot add AreasIt doesn’t seem like that error is related to Draw Attention then. Instead, let’s have you continue troubleshooting since this issue is likely being caused by a theme or plugin conflict.
We recommend that you do these on a staging site if possible or make sure to create a backup on your live site before trying these steps.
